I just read that Marvin Bagley...

On the tweets....man that's some great stuff right there. Everyone makes fun of UNC and the academic scandal but Bagley somehow manages to accelerate his studies and miraculously enrolls at an esteemed academic institution all in under six weeks! Yeah right! Way to go K..... what an evil lil B.

And Duval's situation may be even worse! GTH LOM!

Wait so some fan from another site comes on here and is trying g to start stuff; I call him out on it. I do not call the person names cuss once or even deride the players in question and yet somehow my post is taken down?

I actually agree with @dadika13 here. Last year taught me to temper expectations when relying on freshman. 2015 was the exception and not the norm. Duke has one of the best recruiting classes (that I can remember) coming in, but I'll hold off anointing us champs just yet.

Grayson Allen is the only player returning that played meaningful minutes last year. On paper, we look super talented....but we did last year as well. Lack of outside shooting will be our main concern this year.
Who'd-a-ever-think that would happen? But yeah

So some around Bagley say his academics are in good order.
Short answer to the question above, not only no, but hell no, a "student" sure wouldn't get the help Marvin received to get his HS records in order, nor to enroll at University to boot. Does anyone wonder why he locked in on USC and that school in Derm? Yep, we all know why, private institutions. No NCAA.

Two private online courses? Dick & Sally...Go Spot Go!

Who ya kidding K-Rat! LMFAO!!!

Is trying his hardest to get credits to reclassify to 2017-2018 to go to Duke. That would be lame as hell.

Coach K said he is no longer going to recruit one-and-done type of kids.

I know he would never lie.

He would be a hypocrite if he did.

I must take this very honest man at his word.

Without a man, not honoring his word, he would be nothing to me.

He would be DEAD to me.

The story ends.

Well said.

The thing to worry about with top talent coming in is, can they gel? Can you give minutes to all the kids promised minutes? What about players returning, will they get frustrated their minutes are getting cut by a freshman?

It's these things that can start to spiral out of control with a few losses.

Duke has had the most 5-star players transfer in the history of the NCAA.

To be fair, Giles's health was a big confounding factor.

While them getting Bagley once again on paper gives them the percieved most talent, I will wait until the season tips off before anointing them anything. Something has seemed "off" to me about the way K coaches those guys for awhile now. He uses very weird rotations, shortens his bench way too early in the season, and doesnt tap into the ridiculous depth he has at his disposal on the bench-often leavin high 4 star and 5 star guys getting no playing time.

Quite frankly, Coach K to me gameplan and in game wise has become very very average and seems quite set in his ways. Besides 2015, his overall body of work with the amount of talent hes had has left a lot to be desired in the past 6 years.
