I know several.defense attourneies they don't say a case is going well when it's not. They use words like it's a long process we ran .into some inconsistencies. Phrases like that. But again I am not an expert
Yeah except I'll take the players on the UNC team word for what happened since they know Jalek better than almost anyone on campus. I realize most don't want it to be true but it is and he made some poor decisions. Gotta move on from it though

Well, that would depend on how they say they know. There is really only three ways they could know for a fact. They had a threesome with him and a girl, they are looking a little too closely at him in the locker room (NTTAWWT) or he told them directly.

If indeed the issue with felton is having sex while supposedly knowing he had herpes i guarantee u he can be back in school IF HE CHOOSES TO. The law about sex and std’s wasnt a law until aids for a reason. The reason being its IMPOSSIBLE TO ENFORCE when dealing with other std’s. Herpes can be transmitted a multitude of ways. Plus its only contagious at certain times. To expel felton would require PROVING he knew he was contagious when he had sex (assuming he doesnt or hasnt confessed to it) Which is pretty much impossible. Now If its true hes certainly a douchebag and deserves several ass kickings and even a nice fat civil suit. But if he chooses to fight the suspension and wants to stay in school hes gonna win. Question then is whether or not and how severely coach disciplines him. The team is a dictatorship and coach could very easily suspend him rest of the year or for whatever period of time for undisclosed reasons. Prob would be smart given the distraction he would bring. Can u imagine the reception in cameron?

Can we please quit convicting people without due process? In the court of public opinion, he is already guilty. I'm as much for protecting women from sexual and physical abuse as anyone, but when just the accusation that it has occurred is enough to ruin someone's life, I want to see due process.

I understand. But why do people rush to judgement so often, without waiting for enough information to make an informed decision? And many people's lives have been ruined by being judged guilty in the court of public opinion, even when they were eventually exonerated. If I accuse someone of being a pedophile, even if they aren't, their life can be effectually ruined.
I have yet to hear definitively what Jalek has been accused of, let alone charged with. I have seen speculation of everything from knowingly spreading Herpes to sexual assault, with no corroboration. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt in these situations. Remember what happened when we rushed to judgement in the d00k lacrosse case? In America, we're innocent until proven guilty, it's what separates us from 90% of the countries in the world. The burden of proof is on the accuser, not the accused.

So, you'd be perfectly fine with someone going on a message board & saying those things about you or your child (if you have one)? After all, it's apparently okay to spread slanderous, non-proven rumors about someone, as long as you do it on a message board.
IMO, the fact that this is a UNC message board makes spreading rumors & hoping Jalek is gone even worse. (I'm not saying you said you hope he's gone, but some so called fans have.) Those type posts would be excusable on a rival team's message board, but we're supposed to support our players, until it's been proven they committed a crime. I'm with Arch! People need to wait for official information to be released, before throwing one of our players under the bus. Jalek could have gone to school anywhere. He chose UNC. That should mean something to our fans.

Umm I never got sucked into the Zion to UNC movement that started; much like remember the Alamo I remembered the Wiggins recruitment. And Zion never committed or played for us now did he. This young man is a legacy, and is still wearing all his UNC stuff. He retweets, and replies to team mates still. He also retweets a bunch of pro UNC stuff. No it's not a 100% certain thing, but it's more concise info than a lot of other people have provided.
