Oh man I just went down the rabbit hole.

So Zion was raw dogging multiple porn stars/escorts, and moving them to New Orleans under the pretense of being monogamous. Now he has 1, possibly 2, babies on the way. And he's only played 26 basketball games the past 2 seasons.

Dang! That looked like he jumped off a trampoline! Just a pinch of confidence and a bunch of reps in the gym and this kid will be a real problem! I expect opponents to have to game plan for his D and athleticism by ACc time!
I am so glad this kid stuck with us, it shows a ton of character, especially how he was used last season, which I still consider a major mistake. Folks may forget but Seth was considered other than Bacot to have been our most draft able player, he was projected by some sites as later end of second round in this past draft before he stepped foot on our campus. All anyone has to do is go back and look at what this kid was doing in high school and AAU, he was showing off mind bending ability. His only real weak area was jump shooting and yet the position he was put in last season required him to jump shoot from the 2 or 3 spots?
So yeah, I am really hoping his work this off season and I do know he is focused in on getting his shooting leveled out, hoping that translates to games. Seth just changes the tone of the game when he comes in with his ability to defend and telling you, folks greatly under estimate his ball handling & passing.
After coming back from that nasty west coast road trip early last season, Hubert elected to go away from having Bacot look for jump shots and back to staying deep in the paint and wanted his guards to pump the ball in to Bacot. Bacot in turn began to see more doubles coming at him and it almost looked like neither RJ or Caleb were really looking for Bacot hard. Hubert put Seth in and immediately Seth pumped it in to Bacot, like 3 possessions in in a row, Seth sits and all the sudden RJ and Caleb started actively looking to pump in to Bacot, imagine that! LOL
Let's not also forget that the coach can't be blamed for loose handles or driving repeatedly into trouble. The move from 2 to 1 can be difficult, but 1 to 2 is as easy as simply being a baller. Coach didn't send him out there and tell him to hesitate and pass up wide open shots! A kid with his speed and hops should be able to get to the rim, but he has to take (not make them all) but he has to take open shots! Once he starts taking them with confidence, they will start falling and peeps will rush out to him opening up driving lanes! This would be his strength on O. He wasn't benched for missing; he was benched for being afraid to shoot and driving into traffic instead of following the O.
Thanks for the vid! Did you guys see the rotation on his shot? It is perfect every time and he doesn't waste any energy. Vision is awesome. I'm more worried about the pros convincing him to skip college than I am about him not succeeding IN college!
