NFL 2016-2017

For God's sake, they need to incorporate him more into the offense. With KB back I thought he would get more looks, not less.
I'm a Redskins fan, so I'm not that upset either way. But, I know most of you guys are all Panthers fans. We got Norman, but we need much more than Norman.

Pretty safe to say this season is over. What a colossal disaster.

So many needs this team has. Sitting on $18 million in unused cap space. Cutting Josh Norman. Trading a 4rd round pick for a old punter who winds up going on the season-ending IR. Most concussion-protocol'd players in NFL history.

Sounds like a recipe for success to me. They have a shit-ton of soul searching to do this offseason.

No kidding.

We need help on the O-line, D-Line, secondary, running back, and more. I tell you what, we better use some of that cap space to go after some free agents.

It baffles me how far we've fallen. Injuries have a lot to do with it, but there's a distinct lack of fire in this year's team.

My dad actually talked to Mike Sherman, the former Green Bay Packers coach, and he said that it's the hardest thing in the world to lose a super bowl and come back the next year just as strong as you were before. It changes everything.

I hate to keep harping on it, but cutting Josh Norman truly ripped the soul out of this team. Cam, Luke, and those guys are talented, but Norman was the junkyard dog that every team needs. After the infamous Beckham Jr. game last year when they came out the next week playing "calmer"...they lost their junkyard identity and became mediocre...and lost their first game of the year. It's no coincidence what happened to the defense this year without him around. Every successful team needs those kinds of players -- and it's true across sports. Without Draymond Green, the Warriors aren't what they are anymore.

The rest of these guys - certain players on offense with the jersey numbers between "0" and "2" appear to me to have gotten quite complacent after last year. He needs to realize that he is now an even bigger target than before. If you want to prance around, have team photos, make commercials about "Ain't no band-aids for hurt feelings" and proclaim, "Hey, if you don't like it, stop me from scoring..." I wonder how that medicine tastes right now. Full disclosure -- I LIKE how he acted last year...it fuels the team. But he clearly forgot that he had to put forth the same effort this year.

The Raiders seem like they might actually be legit. If they can get the #1 seed, NE @OAK could actually be a game. If they have to go to Foxboro for the AFC championship game they're probably porked though.

if i didn't have the sunday ticket, i'd have that game and the panthers.

fights, dirty hits, and trash talking

and i just saw the eagles/skins where the eagles are down to their 3rd long snapper...they had tryouts on the sideline.

I hate Cam. I don't know what in the hell is wrong with him, but the bastard needs a wake up call. Int return for a TD when we had the game in the bag.

Well I stand corrected. No TD, but still an interception. Cam's still an idiot.

You know what, he needs an attitude adjustment. He was smiling and dabbing all of last year thinking no one could touch him. Now the league seems to have him figured out and he can barely complete a pass and he still pouts. F**k him. He needs to grow up.

I wish I still had DirecTV and thus Sunday ticket. I'd love to watch my Bucs vs. the Saints. Instead I'm gonna have to put up with Falcons at Rams..................

greatest concept for tv ever...to able to sit at home and watch every nfl game for a nut like me is priceless.

wait till you guys see the hit harry douglas puts on chris harris, and he wasn't even ejected...i can't figure out why these teams don't like each other...there's no history other than the music city miracle.

Bucs are on fire but I just don't see how they make the playoffs. They sit at 8-5 but still have to travel to Dallas. Atlanta is also at 8-5 but get to play San Fran so thus have an easier run-in. Packers and Vikings are both at 7-6 and Giants are at 8-4, facing Dallas tonight.

It's tight.

this will be interesting tonight...it wouldn't surprise me at all if the giants won, but eli is going to throw two for dallas, so they need to catch them...he's so overrated it's pathetic.

all i want is a bye because dallas can win anywhere with elliott and that line.

eta: i did hear that giants fans sold their tix to dallas fans...thats unreal

hope garrett and scott linehan walked back to dallas last night...if they're are going to throw it 35 times in a game when they're ahead most of it, just put romo in.

Cowboys are fools gold IMO. The media hypes the shyt out of them b/c they are a huge ratings draw for a league suffering mightily right now for them.

But that OL is carrying this team. At the end of the day, you still have a rookie QB and a very fortunate injury-free season for the most part.

It will help that the road to the SB will likely go through Dallas...moreso for the fact that you won't have Dak Prescott having to deal with the Seattle crowd in a playoff game than being at home.

Can I just say that Le'Veon Bell is a BMF? He might not be the best RB in the league but I love his style. Dude is unbelievably patient finding his spots and then just busts on through. I don't recall ever seeing anyone else quite like that.

He is the best RB in the league. It's really not that close, IMO.

His running style is awesome, the patience to find the opening and the ability to hit it in an instant is unmatched - and he's got great hands. He could be a top 10 WR in the league if he wasn't an RB.

They talked about it a bunch here on Nashville sports talk today. Apparently it isn't an illegal hit (basically just a cut block), just not something guys generally do away from the ball. Blaine Bishop, who played for the Titans, didn't care for it at all though.

Aqib Talib (who has the same agent as Harry Douglas) said straight up "I'm going to kick his ass next time I see him in Atlanta." Talib is a SCARY dude. I'd hire a bodyguard if I was Douglas.
