remember when fournette was scouted by some as too slow and too over used for the league?

His leg got all twisted up between two dudes while being tackled. I think that was the play

At this point in the season, I don't see how that would work. The dude would not be in football shape and wouldn't have much time to learn the playbook.
If they continue playing good D and run the ball well, Foles can probably keep them in the 1 or 2 seed. But is he gonna come through for them if he's up against Brees, Ryan, Newton in the playoffs?
Agreed. Foles can handle the end of the regular season but the playoffs is a different beast. If they brought Romo in, he'd have a couple weeks to get into shape and learn the playbook. The Eagles playbook gets much smaller with Foles under center. Romo would allow them to open the playbook back up. I think the Eagles should do it. They will not win a Super Bowl with Foles.
you guys know how much i love the nfl...i actually believe it's becoming too saturated with thursday games, london, etc.
however, i've always loved this saturday thing when the college season is over...i think they should scrap thursday and go with saturday/sunday the last month of the season.

As a Panthers fan (and someone who grew up as a Vikings fan), I hate to say this but....
I have this feeling that the Saints will get to the SB from the NFC. Most of the other contenders have backups / young QB's that haven't been there before (Eagles, Vikings, Rams), or aren't a complete / consistent team (Panthers, Falcons, Seahawks). The Saints have dudes that have gotten it done before.

The BIG game today - Pats vs Steelers. I'm looking forward to this one, as it likely decides the 1 seed in AFC, which paves a smoother road to the SB.

I agree It's best for everyone if they go their separate ways.
The winner becomes the favorite for the SB win you have to think.
I wouldn’t want to play against Brady today coming off a piss poor performance where he got out played by smokin Jay Cutler. Plus Gronks back. He’s probably angry too. Angry Brady angry Gronk is no good for the rest of the league.
