Horrific 14-point swing for the Panthers there. Yikes, I feel for y'all.

You cannot settle for 3 points when going against Drew Brees. We are really asking for it.
If they can't get a TD on this next drive, then it's game over. Panthers aren't built to make big comebacks.... they are built to get a double-digit lead and then blow it in the 4th quarter; only to somehow pull out wins over shit teams like the Jets and Bucs.
At least they went for it on 4th. It was a must-go even in the 2nd quarter.
Honestly, as long as the Saints are leading, I'm in their territory and it's nothing ridiculous like 4th and 12, I'm going for it every time. You can't kick a field goal behind against Drew Brees. You just can't.

I mean, because they can actually hold onto the ball when it's thrown to them.
But yes, Newton is a turrible passer. He can't pass his guys "open". He has to wait and wait and wait until he sees them open, and then throw the ball 200mph and hope they can jump high enough to catch his back-foot throws that tend to sail high.
and of course no more TO's when you actually need them, because of that stupid wasted TO after one play!
If that bum Clay had held onto that TD, it would only be 21-16 and Panthers get the ball to start the second half.
Oh wow, we hit a 58 yd FG. Big deal. What difference does it make? Only a miracle play could save us, so I'd just heave a prayer in the endzone and hope Jesus Christ himself blesses one of these receivers and comes up with a miracle catch.
A TD about three quarters too late. Need to heckle the shit out of Brees if we're gonna have a shot.
He just has all day back there, and it's ridiculous. We HAVE to get to him by any means necessary.
