NFL 2018-19

Does anyone want to guess whether Kingsbury actually coaches at USC next year or takes one of the open NFL jobs?

Ah ya, I bet those racists think that just because he's black he steals from supermarkets, sexually assaults women, and hops on tables screaming obscenities in front of large crowds.

Oh wait...

Screaming obscenities in front of large crowds? Did you have to yell for him to get off your lawn as well? ;) Look, the guy has done himself no favors for sure, but he's hardly the monster people try to make him out to be.

All of his issues aside, he's just not very good either. When you and Ryan Fitzmagic are battling it out for the starting position, it's a sign that most likely you're destined for a back up role in the NFL.

They shouldn't have been battling it out. That's one thing that sealed Koetter's fate. America's QB has averaged 270 yards and 1.6 TD's per game so far through his first 54 games started, with no O-line and no running game. The guy is also still just 24 (he'll turn 25 later this month). Go look at what some of the greats had done by then...nothing.

I mean personally I don't care about the obscenities. Just figured these phantom racists would.

just can’t get a read on dallas...tell ya what, that game sunday didn’t mean anything and they didn’t quit...they have serious momentum going in.
It's hard for me to get a read on them, too, but finishing the year pretty strong (except for the Indy game - which they should've just phoned in a forfeit if they weren't going to try) is definitely new for the Cowboys under Garret I think. But its just really hard for me to trust this Cowboys offense. They are so weak in the red zone, and really struggle to score points overall.

I think Seahawks are pretty average to poor against the run. Possibly with getting some O Linemen back off a week of rest and recovery, and Zeke with a week off, too, he can go for like 200+ all purpose yards and 3 TDs. And win the time of possession battle, bigly.

LOL! Look, I'm not saying that everyone who hates America's QB are racist, that's like Dems saying that all Trump supporters are all racist, it's an insane argument. That being said, part of the issue is rooted in racism. I've witnessed it first hand. I think there are a lot of other issues that have spiraled this out of control, including his own actions, college football rivalries, and media sensationalism.

To each his own - but I'm curious - does anybody else call JW "America's QB" - or just a few Nole hard- core fans? Not trolling - I've just never heard him called that before.
And if you floated "America's QB" out there and asked the average (or avid) sports fan who that is - it seems like many would be named before JW: Brees, Rodgers, Luck, now even Mahomes maybe, (Brady? puke), Rothleisberger (puke again), Rivers, Prescott, Foles. Just curious where / how JW "got" that moniker. I never heard it before you used it.

I don't trust the Cowboys to win either. Marinelli has that defense on point, but they've lost too much across the O-line the last couple of years. Maybe that defense can carry the day.

No, it's a tongue-in-cheek pseudonym concocted by the website Joe Bucs Fan. I think they did it to piss off all the crybaby Gator fans who always complain about Jameis because he beat them both times he played them, and all the rest of the haters. I just find the moniker pretty funny because it's obviously so over the top.

Maybe some Gator fans hate Jameis. He just hasn't done anything of consequence for the rest of the country to really care one way or the other about him though, IMO.

Over the last five years, the road teams have won 50% (10/20) of the wildcard round games. With that in mind, I'll pick the Colts and Chargers to win on the road; Bears and Cowboys to win at home.

I like those 4 picks.
I do, too. Outside of the Panthers, I don't have much rooting interesting in the NFL. So I'm gonna root for Mr. Biscuit and the Bears to make a deep run in the playoffs.

The Vikings have to be one of the most disappointing teams this year based on pre-season expectations.

Don't forget to thank the Vikings for being their typical dumb-ass selves, and thinking Kirk Cousins was going to get them to the SB.

They're an interesting organization. I wonder if they would've been as aggressive with the Kirk Cousins signing if they didn't win that miraculous game over the Saints. May have given them a false sense of where they actually were as a franchise.

Their offensive line is also a disaster. Kirk gets a ton of blame and most of it is deserved, but they ignored protecting him.

The Redskins are bringing back coach Jay Gruden for the 2019 season.

lol, perfect...just need the giants to also stay the course.

i’m really not surprised so far by the colts/texans game...both of these teams are well coached so it comes down to the qb and turnovers.

So josh mcdaniels backed out of the Colts job, and apparently turned down a chance to interview with the jets and cardinals this year. There must be some kind of coach-in-waiting deal for him in NE. If so, by the time he gets the job, Brady will have retired (most likely) and he might be in worse shape than if he went to the Colts and still had Luck for a number of years.
Maybe @Hark_The_Sound_2010 has some inside scoop?

my bet is he is the coach in waiting, but because of the rooney rule and other league guidelines, he can’t be named.

i don’t really get the appeal...something happened in denver because they flamed out quick when he was there.

Is the Patriots job without Brady really that attractive?

imo, good ownership and they keep it constant...they also change with the times and their personnel...honestly, i can’t believe they’ve continued to be good around brady.

someone was talking last week about adam humphries being a free agent and how he’s the perfect welker for that offense...they just evaluate well.

If they let him go, can they be assured of bettering themselves? Weren’t they 5-2 before Smith got hurt?

probably not with the group of recycled coaches...mccarthy would be interesting there as would arians.

by the way, didn’t arians say he was done done?...i thought it was a health thing when he left arizona...it’s weird he’s “looking” for a job now.

It's really hard to pick the next game. This one could go either way.

Snyder has been taking a shellacking in the DC news over the last week. I mean, his name is Mudd, now. I've read at least 3 scathing columns that were like verbal cat-of-nine-tails. And, DC native Scott Van Pelt drug them through the coals, too. FedEx Field was a Philly home game. He has totally lost the Redskin fan base. 20 years ago, the waiting list for season tickets was a lifetime. Now, you can't give them away.
