I heard Dan Mullen could be the dark horse candidate for the Cowboys due to the Dak connection

garrett is out.

i’d be okay with mullen...thought this could happen considering his history with dak...but that would be a jerry move.

riley or payton would be my move.

somebody told me the #1 QB from georgia committed to oklahoma and said he’s committed unless riley left.

did he just de-commit?...why is there no mention of riley at all, to anywhere?...all these other coaches are being mentioned, yet nothing of riley’s name.

If they could get Peyton that for sure would be my top choice. I know Brees is great for the Saints, but I always think Peyton has genius offensive schemes as well - very hard to defend.

I like Zimmer from Vikings as a defensive guy who maybe could restore the defense in Dallas which IMO is the side of the ball that needs more help, more accountability, more production.

Regarding college coaches, I'm not sure what to think. I could see the Baylor guy being a top candidate, or Riley I suppose. I worry if they hire an offensive-minded guy like Riley, who do they bring on to make their defense any better?

Even though the offense was statistically good for the Cowboys this year in terms of yards gained, I don't think trying to outscore in high scoring games all the time is a good strategy in the NFL. Lack of a defense catches up to you. They need to somehow bring on someone on defense who can make the Cowboys better, more aggressive at getting sacks and especially getting turnovers. Their pathetic, embarrassing turnover differential is the one factor over time IMO of their consistently underachieving.

dude, i can’t even.

heard marvin lewis as well. #rooneyrule
If I'm not mistaken, McCarthy has now interviewed for every available opening. I guess he's ok, had good records and made the playoffs alot, but was that mostly because he had two HOF QBs at his disposal? He will probably get a job somewhere this year. A "safe" hire. To me, seems like Cleveland might be the best place for him. Hes a midwestern dude, and the Browns need someone with experience as an nfl HC.

Texans job might be available if they lose in 1st round - at home - again this year. 13-0 Bills at halftime.

how fun is buffalo to watch?...hard not to pull for that org.

by the way, i turned over to see the tar heel basketball team and they haven’t made it out of the locker room yet.

the titans o-line has been nasty all year...they look dominant and kinda pissed.

eta: love watching lewan play...dude plays angry

Saints - Chiefs in super bowl?

I think the Saints stomp the Vikings today. Then go to GB. If they win there, and Seattle beats Philly and upsets SF (which I think they will), then New Orleans hosts the nfc championship. They've had two heartbreaking playoff exits the last two years. I'm thinking they won't let it happen this year.

I would like the Eagles to win, but I think it's going to be Seattle
