It’s not so bad. The roster was in shambles when Mack took over. Some were predicting us to win 4 games this year. Losing all those close games tell us how close Mack already has us to winning a lot of football games.

Factor in all of the injuries and this team is actually a lot more competitive than we expected. And the incoming class is loaded in all of the spots where we need more talent and depth.

Oh I see the progress and I'm as excited about the future as anyone. I was referring more to my guts getting kicked in with all these near misses week after week. It's tough on an old dude, lol.

Tough on young dudes too. That’s why I make sure I’m always well stocked on beer

That’s great news. I wonder how many of these freshman will end up starting on defense next year

Yeah, I'm not a premium member - don't care much for Ben Sherman. So not sure what's in that thread.

But some on staff have known since at least Sunday.

Just didn't want to post it on the free board because I wasn't sure what's behind the paywall here.

Lawrence probably only played 75% of his teams snaps since he ususally got to take 4th qtr off.

Perkins came up big time vs us and VT, plus they won the Coastal. Yes, his running stats had to be what pushed him ahead of Sam.

However, I'm sure Sam would've gotten 2nd if we had 8 or 9 wins. So close.

They're kissing Clemson's ass in that entire list.

That's a good point, but that's a hypothetical that we can't really measure. Lawrence actually had more interceptions than Sam (8 vs 7) even though he threw significantly less passes (315 vs 388). Does Lawrence pass Sam in yards and TDs if he throws that much more? Probably, but he probably adds one or two more interceptions as well.

The ACCN was rebroadcasting the 2015 ACC CG. That was still pretty fun to watch.

Two things were worth it. 1- Watching Dabo rip that Punter (Teasdall) a new ass- several times- for the failed fake punt, was priceless. That kid would have been locked-out of his dorm room, been hung in effigy all over Pickens County, and probably have a headstone... if Clemson had lost and lost their CFP spot!
2- Switzer had his skull cracked open during a punt return that sent Trent Green to the locker room for targeting.

We actually played really well in the first half.
