Jones Angell is such a goober. Listen to his call after the pick six.
I listened to at least 3 full games with him... and Brian Simmons. All three were losses, so it made him even worse.
The toughest game this season, for me, was the VT 6 overtimes game.
ok by me... our special teams weren't very special
However, what Mack really needs to do is resign, and have Bubba hire Jeff Monken. Triple-option, baby!

I dont like talking about my sources on here because I dont want to get any insiders in trouble. But trust me, those of us who are ready to see a REAL offense in chapel hill are going to be excited in a few weeks. Monken has been generating a lot of buzz around the war room and Mack is pretty much already sold. The problem is whether or not we can afford to pay him what he deserves. This is the Venables of offensive coaching, so he wont come cheap.

Hopefully give us a little bump in rankings (currently 18th on that site's page).
I don’t know anything about him but it looks like he’s got an impressive resume.
From everything I've read, he might actually be a step up from Brewster.

and man looking at his b-ball hi lites the guy has better game than Luke did at that age. He dropped 35 last night. Good handle, excellent touch, Got great post moves. But he’s only 6’4 with no hops. which is great for a qb but not so much for a power forward.

Anyways...I think we'll be having an easier going at MC moving forward.
I really like the way the 21 class is shaping up and can't wait for football season to get here..especially after an off-year (read, WTF) for basketball

Mack is killing it.
Obviously rankings will change but Heels currently have the 4th ranked class for 2021.

I think this class will be top-10ish on TOS before all is said and done. Somewhere in that 10-15 range. It will depend on two things: 1. Where the 5 stars go and 2. Will there be anymore evals. We have a couple now that should be 5 stars. Then there's Grimes, Shipley and Page. Definitely potential for a historic haul
I forget how the stat goes maybe @Raising Heel remembers it, but it’s something like no one’s ever won the national championship without having at least one top 10 recruiting class in the roster and a top 10 defense that season. That’s seemed light years away until recently. Not happening this season but ‘21 could see both those
Not sure about your stat, but this class will really help us get north of 50% on Bud Elliott's Blue-Chip Ratio. Simply put, every single national champion since the dawn of recruiting rankings has had >50% "blue chip recruits" (4-star and 5-star) on their roster. Warning, this read will be a bitter pill to swallow for the "stars don't matter!!!1" folks.

I had dinner yesterday with chick and her boyfriend, and he's a Clemson graduate and a gigantic football fan. We were discussing the possibility of not having college football this fall. And then we went further and thought about the huge ramifications is going to have on the South and Southeast to not have college football. That's like telling churches that there's no religious functions. It's like shutting down the Vatican for Catholics. Or prohibition for alcoholics.
I'm not on the team, tho.
Plus, it's just a pass or fail test that I don't believe we've ever passed (maybe once under Butch, but probably not), so it would be nice to pass it for once. Could be possible in the 2022 season.
Football revenue is a must for athletic departments. You can't have spring sports without it. Football will be played, even if it means playing in an empty stadium.
Carolina's class is now ranked #2 in the NATION after pulling off the double today with Wilson and Dillworth.

I'm aware of the effect it has on everything. And, I hope they play to full stadiums. I wod be okay with that, frankly. But, at this point, I'm just not sure if there's going to be college football this fall. Kirk Herbstreit is skeptical... we know how accurate he is!
I don't believe Mack is through impressing us with this class, albeit with a little help from Mr. Bly and company.

Were there ever any disciplinary issues during Mack’s first tenure? I can’t remember ever hearing about any.
What do you mean? Is there something suspicious or something "amiss" here? My only concern is that the Covid thing will screw-up the season being played!
