I'm really pleased to see the stock market rebound from the scary drop it took since October and around Christmas and the drastic ups and downs it was taking. I hope it continues to stabilize.
There probably aren’t many Americans whose future livelihood doesn’t depend on a strong stock market and a strong economy. We should all be grateful for prosperity.
That probably depends on age. If I were near retirement, I probably wouldn't be invested much in the stock market. However, that's personal preference.
A long list of things. He claimed he was going to leave MMJ to the states, then quadrupled raids on dispensaries. He tried to be the cool guy that had tried weed when he was younger, then when he got in the WH, he routinely shot down legalization. He was beholden to the big banks and corporate interests. That was made clear when he used tax payer dollars to give bonuses to the executives who were largely responsible for the 2008 crash. He also expanded the power of the presidency in ways that I disagree with, which is something many of his supporters now regret.
Other than the top like .1% who are untouchable, unless you’re dying within the next year the future economy will greatly impact your life.
So I guess the Governor and Lieutenant Governor in Va. are top notch guys it looks like. Will the L. Gov get the Kavanaugh treatment or no?
I got mixed feelings. First it was obviously idiotic to pose for the pics. But are pics from college really fair game in judging someone’s character later in life? Course he hasnt helped his cause by first apologizing then denying it happened.
There were some people on here who wanted to jump all over a high school kid when it appeared he might have been trying to make fun of black people by painting his face at a themed basketball game. At what point is it ok to forgive the high school kid?
I wish they weren't, but as evidenced by people's twitters getting sifted through and getting crushed over comments from a decade ago, they apparently are.

Yes... the timing seems more than coincidental. I believe VA is a pretty moderate, center-left state now.... I wonder if this came out because he (Northam) was taking some flack about the late-term (post-birth) abortion comments and video (his defense of it)... maybe someone just saw an opportunity to pile on at that moment when his popularity given the abortion comments - was already possibly declining....
then no sooner does the picture, and several versions of comments come out from him- when presto, something magically arises as a potential sexual abuse claim against the next in line. Weird timing, again... not a coincidence. Lots of party infighting, who knows who you can trust, or who is out to get you, in politics. In the end, I think its each man or woman for himself. Cutthroat. No loyal friends. Insatiable appetite and lust for power.

Ya. If everybody's full pasts were aired to the public, no one would be deemed fit to hold office. Seems like it just comes down to which politicians/candidates/justices people want to dig hard enough to find something on.
That’s not exactly what went down. He was asked about the bill presented by another congresswoman and he gave his interpretation of what it entailed. The bill is designed to make it legal to abort children with severe abnormalities that will greatly impact their life. He said he hoped that the parents would discuss options with doctors and he thought it should need the approval of two doctors (he himself is a doctor).
