That's more the media's fault than anything else. The stuff Obama did was 20 times worse than Trump to this point. Maybe you all will get your wish and Trump will start a few wars and ruin healthcare even worse than Obama did.
I'm talking about how they lied to get us into WWI, Vietnam, and Iraq for starters. Then we can also start talking about the Shah of Iran, among other international leaders, after that.
I think Donald Trump cares about himself first and last. Everyone else falls into different buckets of varying importance.
Meh, I actually agree with whomever said he cares about class more than color.
He discriminates on both, but I think he'd rank a rich black person over a poor white one on levels of "tremendous people".

The reasons Schumer gave of picking Abrams were: "She is just a great spokesperson. She is an incredible leader. I definitely think the speech and the reaction are going to be better than normal. You're going to hear from possibly the biggest blowhard on the planet, then you're going to get a reaction from an ignorant, identity policy racist afterward.
Well WWI currently is my least favorite WW. Did the US even participate? Getting in Vietnam was just a total Sh%tshow for a variety of reasons. Iraq? Cheney and his goons had a hard-on for Iraq for years before the invasion. Cherry picking from the intelligence service started that war.
I'm not saying their hands aren't dirty. They've done some really crappy stuff. But I do believe most of it is done with the blessing or the "plausible deniability (wink wink)" of the administration in power at the time.

I hear ya. I'm just saying that, IMO, the press (on both sides) bears a large part of the responsibility for this divide.
I don't really think the CIA is working at the behest of the president. I think they're working at the behest of the corporations. We fought those wars at the behest of the banks and military industrial complex. The banks especially were involved in WWI because they had lent money to the UK and were scared that, if the UK lost, they would never get repaid.
Anyone who watches the SOTU instead of the game is a dookie troll.

Me and some buddies were drinking with some british tourists one night (before we rolled them). Man they hold a grudge over ww2. “Where were you during the bloody blitz??!!” Was all we kept hearing. Seems they blame us for not jumping in earlier while they were getting bombed.
They're still upset we kicked their ass in the revolutionary war.
We were too busy building all of their war materials and lending it to them at very good rates.
How old were these people? If they were there during the blitz they must have been about to keel over.
