young people preferring the liberal POV is as old as the idea of there being liberals and conservatives. No news there whatsoever. If they voted in extraordinary numbers, that's where the news is. Except that's no surprise either.
The young don't have the life experience and the common sense to understand how flawed the liberal POV is. As they mature, IF they mature, they will tend to become much more conservative. This is hardly a secret. No great revelation here.

It's a rare young person who is capable of seeing that ill-considered expediency and immediate gratification without regard to repercussion isn't the best approach in the long run. This is just another reason for combating the idiocy of the party that actually strived to lower the voting age. What a great idea, let's introduce an even greater level of immaturity into the process just so we can get more votes, while not giving a shit what effect it might have on the health of our country.
And let's tell the young voters that we're going to cancel their debts. They'll jump on that brainlessly and we'll just say fvck those who will be picking up their tab, even after having had to pick up their own. It won't really cost us anything, it will just increase our debt and who cares about that.
Also, we know that the young really want abortion availability because they don't want to act responsibly enough to not need that option. So we'll paint a picture of uncaring lawmakers forcing young girls to have babies that came about because of rape or incest, like it happens on every street all the time.
That's the real issue. These shitty parties run some of the most flawed people.
Local elections do have more bearing on your life than national ones. But the left is deranged and having them in charge nationally is problematic unless you live in Florida where you have a state government that tells the Feds to f*ck off.

If I'm occasionally defensive it's only because I'm viciously mocked for no other reason than being myself. I don't think you'd take too kindly to being called 'mentally disturbed' and 'sexual deviant' on a weekly basis. And the ironic part is GSD gets even more defensive than I do when I hit back. And enough with the overreacting and hyperbole. You've been considered other than you care to be considered by someone who has a different take on the subject, not 'viciously attacked'. He has a POV, you have a POV. At ground level, It's just a draw. And from what I've seen, he is only saying, like I say, that he doesn't care what you are or want to be AS LONG AS you aren't corrupting society by promoting the lifestyle or whatever you call it. I haven't taken anything I've seen him say as indicating that your mere existence is a problem for anybody. Maybe I missed it.
What "lifestyle" is that, exactly? And, what is the appropriate "lifestyle" that doesn't "corrupt society?"
One that is fairly normal. And if abnormal, one that is quiet and understanding of their abnormal lifestyle.
Is your definition of wealth the amount of money in your 401k? Says a lot about your actual wealth if you think so.

As to the second question, the answer is 'not the lifestyle you get from asking carolinablue34 about the lifestyle in question'. Seems so obvious to me, especially since it's only been discussed nearly to death here.

Well... "normal" for you is not normal for everyone, or even most people. Unless you're an old, white guy that is in rural Virginia. Rural Virginia is hardly a barometer for normal. I mean, I'm sure Jerry Fallwell, Jr.'s version of normal is perfectly acceptable.
wrong. Normai is the norm. @carolinablue34 is not the norm anywhere on the planet, unless it's within the scope of some alphabet parade or gathering. No one has said that everyone has to be normal or cares whether they are or not. For my part, I am happy that carolinablue34 has found contentment within herself. Normal is subjective. Normal for you is not always normal for anyone else. So, your concern about "disrupting society" is just bullshit.
It's not a "setup-type" question. You and dick are the ones insisting that people like 34 are sexually-deviant, or mentally ill and "abnormal"... AND... they are also disrupting society. They're not. They're simply different. You and dick can't understand it, or accept it, so therefore it must be abnormal and threatens your perception of normalcy and society.

Normal is one of the most self-defining words we have, and it is NOT subjective unless you've decided to use the word ABnormal as a pejorative. I have not, and I have said nothing to imply that I have.
I understand that in keeping with wokeness and political correctness, many have taken to warping words out of their intended meaning so as to keep from hurting someone's feelings. I don't warp words for that or any other reason. I use words as they are intended in order to convey the reality at hand.
You can have your own opinion about what 'disrupts society' but I'm betting it won't make much of an impression on me. The long and the short of it is that I don't care for or condone the promotion of abnormal sexual lifestyles. If one finds themselves yearning to be what they are not, I hope they don't struggle too mightily with a solution. At same time, I don't want those who have accommodated their circumstance trying to sway, or act in a way that might affect, the eusceptible into making bad choices.

In fairness, BT has had no problem referring to me as I wish. He just doesn’t see it as the ‘norm’ which technically that’s correct. The vast majority of people on this earth aren’t trans. I just don’t deserve to be mocked or cruelly dismissed for it.

At the risk of derailing the thread further, I don’t consider what I am a ‘lifestyle.’ Just as being gay, straight, white, black, or whatever isn’t one. I just am what I am.
But you knew that already. We’re cool.
