The local newscast I saw reported fully auto weapons. Just repeating what I heard.
Fair enough. It's a great example of the need to always question what is being reported to us, however. This is simple stuff that's easy to get right or simply not address in a report unless there is an agenda involved. Even national, so-called sophisticated and experienced journo's constantly get it wrong due to their biased perspectives:

Can someone explain why this is happening?

Is it mandatory that every rep be on at least one committee? Why should this person be on anything remotely impactful.

Because he got elected. How can democrats actually raise an issue with him after nominating Biden, the serial liar about everything. Seriously, talk about double standards.

In Santos' case, he will be out in 2 years with the next election and his political career over.

The DOJ is completely out of control and when a new president is elected, he or she should appoint a special prosecutor to go after everyone in the DOJ who abused their power.

Election fraud on a massive scale has become the norm in many areas.

" While the GOP and conservative media have largely moved on from Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake and the systemic failures that occurred in Maricopa County on Nov. 8, court testimony and eyewitness reports from the Lake trial include allegations that Arizona’s largest county violated state law by failing to implement chain-of-custody documentation for Election Day ballots, resulting in a mysterious 25,000 extra votes added to Maricopa County’s official tally within a 24-hour period — more than the margin of victory between Lake and gubernatorial victor Katie Hobbs."

You equate the fraud that is Santos with Joe Biden. Wow.

Santos funneled five million illegals into the country and then distributed them all around at our expense, while telling us that the border is secure? Here all along I thought that it was Biden who was the bigger fraud. Well then, Fvck that Santos guy to hell.

I hate this thread. Always have.

I'm here just about everyday because I promised I would be when I agreed to do the job. I read all the posts because that IS the job. I take notes, mental and physical, to refer back to because sometimes I need to remember where a post is and/or exactly what was written. You guys know I've been here a while, and some remember I've done this job other places before coming here. In all my time doing this I have come to the conclusion no one comes to a political conversation with an open mind or a willingness to simply disagree. Everyone shows up to argue. Many times I can guess who wrote a post just by the wording and tone, never looking at the name or avatar...some of y'all are easy to recognize, lol.

I wish like hell I could get all y'all together in a room and film it. I bet the conversations would change just a little, and I wouldn't be able to recognize you guys with just your words. I also bet you'd find out some of you guys on opposite sides have much more in common that you think, and that you might actually like each other a little. And that after, just maybe, you would treat each other a little better in here.

Sorry for interrupting the vitriol. Just felt like something I needed to say. Y'all carry on.

Why on earth would you bring common sense and moderation into this forum?

Yep. It's @Heels Noir, isn't it. He gets kind of saucy when I spank him and send him to his room without his favorite buttplug.

No one whines quite like @Heels Noir. Unless it's @strummingram after I cuff him behind the ears a little.

Better probably keep this between us I guess.

Do you mean whines like you're doing right now? You're projecting again, little man. And speaking of your diminutive stature, I think strum is a pretty tall dude. The only question is do you need a 3-step or a 6-step ladder when you cuff him behind the ears?

^^^^^^ lol; and there he is, right on time. Too easy.

And somehow too dumb to know I was speaking figuratively, although I'm sure that even at my age, I could stuff him in a trash can.

I'm not tall... 5'9", 5'10"

Size 12.5 shoes! Clown feet on my height. I think the coffee and cigarettes as a child stunted my growth, but it made my crank huge.

yes him. And you're the one who brought it up so stop projecting .your projecting.
Well, technically, you brought it up... or, you pointed it out. You focused on that part of my response to someone else, and assumed (projected) it would be their focus as well. You do that most of the time.

No. Biden is much worse and always has been. Guess you are not familiar with his decades long list of lies he always resorts to from his early days until now as well.

Santos is nothing compared to Biden in these matters.

The GOP House stance on the debt limit should be that we welcome never raising it. Period.
Government has to figure out how to pay it's bills on current tax revenues or selling off stuff. The federal gubmint owns tons of properties, many of which they do not use.
That should be the starting stance and attitude. That should be the message sent to the WH and the public. We believe the government should only spend what it takes in as revenue.

Only if the WH and senate offer VERY substantial cuts in spending will the House consider raising the debt ceiling. In the meantime, keep investigating the traitors and don't let up.

Let's start taxing all churches and religious tax-evaders.

Most churches don't actually show profit. So no luck there but all those NGOs and non-profits, unions, universities like Harvard with big endowments and the democrats would take a huge hit.

Big issue for me with taxing churches is just the whole idea a church should even have to answer to government and fill out a form stating their finances and other information.

yes, genius, I pointed out that you brought it up, in response to your falsely trying to contend that it was MY focus.

You do this most of the time.

What else you got?
