and yet you can't demonstrate how the country is supposedly being hurt by Trump. All you can do is SAY he's hurting the country. Substantiation is all we ask for, and substantiation is what we NEVER get; just innuendo and insinuation and baseless claims.
And what you always fall back emptily on when we fail to agree with you is, 'they can't see him for what he is', or even worse, and infinitely more idiotic, 'he's just a Trump worshipper'. What we do see is what he isn't, which is the things you keep saying he is.

@prlyles does it bother you that the candidate that you will be voting for lied when asked if he knew anything about his son's dealings in Ukraine when reports clearly show he knew about them and was warned it was a conflict of interest? Does it bother you that his son was wired $3.5 million from the mayor's wife in Moscow? Does it bother you that he flew on Air Force 2 with his Dad and returned with a boatload of $$$ from China? Let me guess, it doesn't because Trump is a meanie.

I can't 'like' this as much as I want to, but I can recognize it as just about the best, most spot-on offering I have seen here. You can also claim 1st runnerup.

Methinks there’ll be plenty for supporters on both “sides” to be ashamed of once the election is over. The possibility of trump being forcibly removed by court order makes me chuckle. A Biden presidency however terrifies me.
He admits in the doc above to lying to FBI. That's on him.
You mentioned his life being screwed because of 'hoax', i'd say his life was screwed because he tried to hide something by lying to the FBI (and maybe to Trump and Pence). I'm curious what who/what he was protecting when he lied.
I can't believe we even reacted to the usual lying libby tactic of distorting the fact of the matter. Common sense tells you that Trump wouldn't actually refuse at this point to concede defeat, and all he in fact did was threaten a possible legal challenge, depending. Do a little trek back into fairly recent history and find what happened in 2000 before deciding that Trump needs any defending at all here. But @prlyles' vaunted 'Atlantic' put up a distortion of what Trump said and of course prlyles, being the lying POS that he is, ran with it. That's just what his ilk does. They would rather walk across the street to tell a lie than to tell the truth where they are standing. I thank him though for affirming what I suggested in recent posts about them having nothing but innuendo and insinuation and distortion to offer.
Again, I'm not asking what illegality he admitted to. I'm asking what lie he told. If you can't tell me that, then you have no idea at all about this case.

The false statements and omissions are documented in the doc i linked above, he screwed himself on his false statements and omissions. He and his lawyers (who were probably Trump's lawyers or bannons, kochs, etc) chose to plead guilty to lying (why, what's he hiding) - all he had to do was be truthful.
Pretty sure the lying in DC has been there for ages. Do you remember Biden's first attempt at the presidency? How about his plagiarism? Or the fact he didn't want his kids in racial jungles in schools? What about the fact that Obama's own Defense Sec said Ole Joe had been wrong on almost every single foreign policy issue? You've picked the wrong horse in this race(for the second time) and you are too stubborn to see it.
You two are both clowns. It's been shown repeatedly on this forum that there is no evidence that the Trump administration had any significant impact on economic growth. The economy, up until Covid, was following the exact same trend under Trump that it was already following under Obama. If Trump's tax cuts had "exploded" the economy then you would think it would show up in the data....

I have never expected a politician to tell the truth, unless under oath and even then it's suspect. I do however expect rational, intelligent people to do so.

So....Flynn was actually telling the truth when he lied about lying. Trump lied when he said Flynn was lying about lying but now trump is telling the truth about not lying about Flynn lying then lying about lying.
Not diving into the debate on how the economy is doing, but just found those numbers interesting.
Do we think a larger portion of the 6% of the workforce that now has a job that didn't in April, is due to companies drastically changing their hiring capacities in the last 4+ months, or due to the fact that Covid bonus for being unemployed is gone and now people are no longer incentivized to stay out of work to get paid more money?
Call me a cynic, but my money's on the latter.
The economy was doing good under Obama when trump took it over and it continued to do good at the same growth rate until covid. And I have both life experience AND numerous unc Econ courses under my belt that enable me to say with confidence neither president had a goddamn thing to do with It.
Although I have no doubt that you know more about this than that Blazers dude, you still have no idea what is going on it whatsoever. I would walk you through it, but I also know you don't care so no point in wasting the time.

Yeah I was being tongue in cheek with that poast, it was more about bleed calling the 2020 election a landslide because of 3 years ago. Most voters are idiots and most idiots only think about what happened in the past like month. Comey telling Congress there were new Hillary emails a week before the election definitely cost her votes (having zero charisma didn't help her either).
I agree with you - most places around me are hiring and can't fill positions because people were/are making more on unemployment...which is a joke and a far worse crisis than anything the news is currently talking about.
