That's what I don't understand about Trump. He keeps shooting himself in the foot. There's so many things he's said/done that has caused him unnecessary damage. What exactly was the point of keeping those documents? There's no legitimate reason to take them with you and certainly no reason to try to keep them hidden. It's like he's a real life Mr. Magoo.

- inflation slowing
- Biden approval up
- Russia losing ground
- Trump raid
- Biden passing Aid packages for Vets/college grads while Pubs are taking away abortion rights.

mid terms are typically a referendum on the sitting pres. This one’s shaping up to be on trump and abortion.
The GOP is doing everything they can to make it close but in the end, I still have to believe American principles and the American family win out. Polls are polls and you can always find one that will tell you what you want to see. But I think the turnout for the GOP will be huge. I also think independents will go right. They care less about irresponsible women having abortions and more about the financial security and personal safety of their families, which is clearly in danger due to democrat policies.
If this is the case, I am really saddened. Why on earth would people be so stupid and gullible to vote on our former president (rather than the one currently "leading" our country) and something that can be relatively easily fixed through legislation (if, indeed, the vast majority believe accordingly as we keep getting reassured)???
I know that those issues are certainly what the D's and their companions in the msm certainly hope people vote on.
The issue isn't what you think it is. The left doesn't think we currently have a problem. They see no need for "a fix". I think they truly believe all is well or that the path we're on is the right path. Or at least, that's the message I get from them.
