OOTB's Political Thread . ..

Oh, I forgot to ask about that guy who used to brag about ignoring the S.Ct. ruling on the "forgiveness" of student loans and just continued to do what he wanted regardless of our highest court's ruling. Hmm, who was that? I can't remember, but I seem to recall it was the same guy who bragged about cutting off funds to Ukraine unless they changed direction on an investigation of a Ukrainian company that paid big bucks to the guy's son. And then they impeached him for it! Oh wait, hmmm, was that him? Hmmm. Just can't recall. But it must have been Trump, he's got lots of kids and they're all bad, bad. Orangeman bad.
Don't confuse him with facts!

Quite a lot of judges? You mean those handpicked appointees of the left who have been specifically forum shopped and targeted for these initial filings with judges that are consistent in their activism? I'm shocked. You conveniently ignore the other rulings that have gone the other direction. And none of that has anything to do with the actual end rulings once these things get appealed and actually decided.

But in the meantime, it's nice to know that you are a fan of Elmo in Iraq and other such really important things to spend our tax dollars on. Nice drive by.

Like the judge that was appointed by Reagan? Lmao okay

I’m a fan of fighting the spread of HIV and malaria in Africa, and the countless other humanitarian projects that we fund for a tiny percentage of the federal budget. Aside from the obvious moral component, it’s an extremely cheap way to maintain geopolitical relationships across the globe. But it is actually kinda funny watching people eat up fake stories about sending condoms to Gaza and all other kinds of bullshit. Or the idiot here trying to claim the FS is laying people off en masse because it’s winter lmfao.

Let me know when we cut the subsidies to Elon’s companies. He’s just about the biggest welfare queen in US history.

See, this is where we diverge.

As I've said umpteen number of times, make taxes a la carte and this would be fixed. Because where YOU may be a fan of fighting the spread of HIV and malaria in Africa, I may not be. You'd be able to put your tax dollars towards such things and I'd have the ability to put my tax dollars towards things I find worthwhile. So either we continue down the road of when my candidate wins, we stop paying those silly things and when your candidate wins, we continue paying for those silly things or we allow each tax payer to allocate their tax dollars as they see fit. There would be some line items that would require a certain percentage of each tax payer's allocation, i.e.; defense, infrastructure, etc. But everything else is optional. The best thing about my model is that we would finally see what the American people truly support. It would be very telling. And I suspect that's why people on the left would never be in support of such - they'd have to face the fact that their pet projects are seen as wasteful by the American populace.

Idiot....a Congressman from NC said his district did not see FEMA show up until 3 days after the disaster. FEMA claimed they were low on funds trying to blame Republicans running the HoR but then it was exposed FEMA blew money on helping illegals live in this country which is pure BS.

The POTUS runs the USG and the Executive Branch, Cleatus. He has the right to not fund gay and trans BS overseas that was hidden in foreign aid bills. He also has the right to stop paying criminals worldwide BILLIONs in stolen Social Security payouts to dead people and stolen credentials. There is a coup right now by you scum using the courts to block Trump from running the Executive Branch because more Americans got sick and tired of your BS in the last election. So you scum turn to corrupt and incompetent judges to block Trump from doing his job. That will end at the SCOTUS.

It is winter, moron. I'm sure anyone cut by mistake in the Forest Service with a real job will get it back for the spring and summer. Are you a Forest Service trash collector in Boone NC??? Make sure you get all those Hardees wrappers off the ground....
dude, c'mon. Give @uncboy10 a break. It's hard enough defending the indefensible without you injecting fact and common sense into it.

you mean like the subsidy that one of your ilk in the media tried to paint as a payoff by Trump for his support, until it was realized that the 'subsidy' was the winning of an open bid to supply EV's to replace government gas vehicles? Until it was realized that Biden is who put it out for bid?

I wish the rest of our welfare queens earned their keep that way, by actually working at something.

I have to say, Rachel Madcow looks good on you.

to further solidify the concept, it would be even better to not just collect taxes based on income to fund essentials, but to additionally BILL outright for the taxes required to pay in real money for those elective endeavors. No more Americans spending money we don't have to teach chimps to use a hula hoop, I betcha. But on the other hand, for example, I might very well designate some additional personal taxation toward attempts to cease the ongoing trashing of our planet.

What would comprise an essential would be decided at least in part by referendum.

In reality, it might be a good first step to simply require that legislation and executive directives be revealed IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS that the public can understand, exactly where and how our growing debt is being applied...and AS IT IS BEING PROPOSED instead of after the borrowed funds have disappeared into thin air.. We elect these people to act on our behalf, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't have to account for those actions.

We are being herded around and worked by the unaccountable and irresponsible who have largely gotten themselves elected just to fatten their own asses. They don't much care what happens to us NOW, let alone what happens in the future.

Why do you think they are fighting those things? How would you know?

Birx just lamented lying to the public since it has created distrust.

1. Said the jab was never designed to prevent infections.
2. That young people should never have been given the jab.
3. That only the most vulnerable should have been given it, not the whole population.

Also explains it's not a vaccine or "traditional vaccine" and was gene therapy.

Contrary to campaign promises, grocery and gas prices and inflation in this country are on an upward spiral but at least Donald Trump has signed a monumental executive order prohibiting the procurement of paper straws.

"We're going back to plastic straws, [paper straws] don't work. I've [used] them many times," captain shit-for-brains said in the Oval Office yesterday. Nothing is more effeminate than a grown male over the age of 12 sipping a drink through a sissy stick. I'm sure that offends most of the limp-wristed girlie men in this thread, but facts are facts.

Here's another fact: Trump sucks. Literally.
You expect prices to drop within 30 days?

Hopefully he's not that stupid, but I wouldn't bet on it. That's all the left has now. A few meaningless flybys are all they have. It won't be a quick fix for all the bs the left and some reps have done to this country. Trump is doing exactly what he promised. I guess transparency is a dirty word now.

Well it’s public information that’s easy enough to google. I’ll even do it for you. There you go.

You expect prices to drop within 30 days?

Also just so you know the markets are signaling an expectation of higher inflation to come. Probably because the orange dipshit’s entire economic platform is inflationary. Tariffs and mass deportations both cause higher prices.

Pretty sure this guy was the one who "debunked" Pizzagate...

a wise man once said, 'you creates the problem, WE ALL pays to fix it'.

Your assertion is just another variation of the boneheadedness and bias inherent in the suggestion that problems that it took the Biden admin four years to create and imbed should be fixable in a months time.

Can you actually not know how lame your attempts to misplace blame are?

Some judge appointed back in the 80s could be a pedophile demoncrat today.

The condom story was true, the correct country was somewhere in Africa when gaza was incorrectly listed in the media. But dumbass, hamas did use condoms as ballons to launch bomb attacks on Israel. UNWR gave millions to hamas and we funded UNWR, so STFU.

I think the EU can chip in to save demoncrats with HIV in Africa, we are $37T in debt, dumbass.

I have seen a lot of stupid ass left wing trash spewing that BS on Fakebook. "Trump was supposed to fix inflation on day 1."

Well, Trump did not kill millions of hens in 2024, that was biden's USDA. This is what demoncrats do, crap on the floor and blame others.

If there is a 9/11 attack on Trump's watch before he can get most of the illegals out, they will blame him like they did Bush not biden that let the terrorists come here and fester. Clinton let UBL live to pull off 9/11. That is why Sandy Berger stuffed classified notes in his underwear that he stole from the National Archives to cover up their lack of action to kill UBL in the 90s. It was because they did not want to "harm women and children" hanging out in UBL's camp. Uh...we should kill anyone hanging out with evil scum.

Clinton passed on taking out bin Laden because he wasn't assured that he would suffer no political damage over the legal propriety of it... But he did send a cruise missile in to take out a factory that made baby formula, so that we could see how tough on terror he was. Then he made political hay by cutting deeply into intelligence and security funding, so that he could brag about a balanced budget that republicans forced him into devising. That lessened state of security allowed the 9/11 bastards to come into our country and learn to fly. Yeah, Clinton was a peach alright.

They could dish it out but can’t take it.
It's not about dishing it out. They sold an agenda and mindset for years and truly believed it because no one who mattered to them told them otherwise. When a really vocal minority shouts the loudest and convinces those who are easily swayed, they have a hard time with the reality that what they've been screaming about wasn't ever where everyone else was. All they did was join the very small group shouting the loudest. Now that the screaming has become just screaming, it's not that they don't want to hear it from the rest, they are still grieving and dealing with the harsh reality that they were just wrong.
