ACC football is pretty much a joke outside of Clemson. And just today the local rag here in Charlotte had a big story on how State was in position for one of the big 6 bowls. This despite having only wins against a schedule that would be welcomed by some 1AA schools. Been hammered by anybody half decent. Then they lose to Wake. Dorean is every bit the fraud that Fed is, but at least he knows how to schedule a good record.

But you are correct about Doeren. He’s very bad. 18-28 in the ACC. If it wasn’t for heating UNC he would be gone honestly. He’s a tremendous recruiter and that buys any coach an extra year. They need to make wholesale changes with the def coaching staff.

We’re in no position to talk because we sick, but Dave was epically bad for a while and finally ‘broke through’ last year to win 8 regular season games. On the surface that looks great be in reality, 12 guys from that team are getting nfl checks and a few more will be after this year.
