PRESIDENT TRUMP

The irony in the inauguration turnout jokes is great. His opposition has been complaining he's a big bully for months. Yet they're literally treating him like the unpopular kid at school that doesn't have a big turnout at his birthday party. I guess it's a "if you can't beat them join them" type thing.

Ive been trying to not pay attention to it, but Trump must be doing fairly well so far if all people have to rip on him for are the amount of people at his inauguration (true or not), and the size of his hands (has that one not gotten old yet?)
Well if you listened to his address you'd know he's going right after women's rights, LGBT rights and minority rights. He's got it out for the whole USA. Evil, evil man for saying America first. I'm betting within a month all women will be barefoot and pregnant making sammiches in their kitchens. I also liked that he wants to take healthcare away from everyone.

Wait... are you claiming that this sprinkling of a turnout is because they were afraid for their life?

Turnout was low because over 90% of D.C. and the Beltway voted for Hillary and the rest of the country doesn't have the resources ($500 hotel rooms plus air or gas) or desire to attend a parade.

Who cares about going to an inauguration anyways? I don't get it.

I've never even watched one on TV. But, apparently they draw big crowds. Nuke'em is claiming, I think, that this particular one had a low turnout because of the threat of something.

I love watching Dims do the slow-burn, lol. Poor snowflakes are all melting down and all the pissing and moaning plays like soothing, soft chamber music while I sit in front of a nice, toasty little fire with my feet kicked up sipping a tasty beverage just enjoying the show.

I smell bacon frying...the 6 is cooking breakfast! Cool! She mentioned in passing that "a bunch of idiot women are marching about something stupid" yesterday as we drove to my granddaughter's birthday party. I replied "They must all be in comfortable shoes" and winked. We shared a little chuckle. NTTAWWT.

It's a great day in the USA, snowflakes! Take a deep breath and smell that change you can believe in! Roll wid'it!

Or don't. I promise...we don't care either way, lol.

Gotta go. Sounds like breakfast is done!

I predict over the next four years a lot of Trump's present-day supporters will grow to hate him.

Don't underestimate this groundswell of animosity which will ultimately undermine Trump. I predict over the next four years a lot of Trump's present-day supporters will grow to hate him.

Werent you the guy who predicted Hillary in a landslide?

Aren't you the meek one who was too scared to accept my wager for FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS?!?!

You could be on vacation right now sipping cocktails in the Bahamas instead of sitting in front of your computer on this cold and gloomy day hammering out one lame-o post after another.

Why would I wager $5k with you at even odds when I can wager $5k on the same bet at 4-1? Do you honestly think I am as stupid as you?

At the moment, the only difference between you and me is that you are whining and I am gloating.

I much prefer my position.

Now make some more predictions for us. Everyone likes a good laugh on a rainy Sunday.

In all seriousness -- I'm not going to lay claims to the notion that Trump's crowd was smaller b/c his supporters actually have jobs and needed to be there b/c this occurred on a weekday...I'll just leave that one alone since Nobama's also occurred on a weekday.

The real thing that is being overlooked is that Obama's election was historic in that he was the first black President. It has nothing to do with party affiliation or policy...it is simply the fact that this was a very historic occasion that many in the black community thought would never happen in their lifetime. Plain and simple.

The MSM attempt here to focus on Trump's crowd is oozing with bitterness and actually discredits Obama's achievement in the 2008 election. The fact remains here that they are completely beside themselves that Trump won and they will go to any lengths to find any angle possible to discredit him, even at the expense of the one(s) they do support. And some of you guys here have bought into their concepts unconditionally. It's sad, really. I feel for you guys, on a very minute level.

That's just it, you suggested a straight-up bet and I named the amount. Only then did you start backpedaling, which is what you do best.

Great poast, obviously Obama would have more people - it was a historic event. We've had 43 other white guys as president, not exactly a once in a lifetime must see event. Add in the political affiliation of the vast majority of nearby residents, and it's really no surprise at all.

Are people trying to imply that Trump doesn't have a lot of supporters? There's a much more reliable measure for that than turnout at an inauguration speech... it's called an election. They had one back in November and Trump supporters were heard loud and clear there, I do believe.

Buyer's remorse has set in already with a few . . the realization that they will now be lied to by the WH Press secretary about facts that can/will/have been so easily fact-checked and disproven is a gut-checker.

Sean Spicer has now lost all credibility with the Press and most of us that watched that absolute disaster of his first Press Conference. He looked nervous, uncomfortable and very much like he didn't want to be the messenger that his boss sent him out there to be.

Trump lied his ass off during his campaign and it appears very much that he wishes to keep that the norm during his presidency.

LIES will be coming hard and heavy with this assclown . . and yes, Heels Noir, there will be plenty that will run from him, and likely sooner rather than later.

jmho

Actually, that's not at all the way it went.

Or if you reeeeeeeally want to bet money, I'm cool with that. How about five grand? Seriously.

You really might be the biggest idiot on this board. It's all in writing- just follow the link.

Suck it Noir. You are a terrible troll.

Exactly. The first woman President -- no matter which party it is -- will likely see a similar turnout.

In all seriousness, thank you @Heels Noir

The opportunity to revisit threads like that where you and a few select others showed your collective asses is great. I think I will bump them so everyone can enjoy.

You did good Noir. You made a good poast, even if it didn't turn out like you wanted.

What I don't get is why those marches were necessary yesterday. Who's rights have been taken away? What violation of the constitution has occurred?

They won't lose Roe v. Wade or the ruling that gave gay people the right to marry. They could defund PP and scrap the majority of the ACA. They may renegotiate trade deals. Don't know if that wall is gonna go up. I really hope he deports those illegal immigrants that have committed crimes and punishes sanctuary cities.

It's all a wait and see game right now. Why protest when literally nothing has happened?

I've never understood these marches and protests...for either side. They're dumb...it may have worked for MLK, but that was a different time. In today's world, these people just come off looking like idiot crybabies. Case in point -- Pictures are still worth 1,000 words. This is your protest group -- tolerant, peaceful...until you disagree with them:

Instead of asking others who are also confused by it, why not directly ask some who participated? Have you tried that?

My Facebook is littered with them. The stock answer is that they participated because they are scared about what Trump will do to other women. They are not worried about themselves though because they have plenty of money and education.

The worst part of it all is that I'd guess roughly half of those marching yesterday didn't even know why they were marching. They just wanted to be a part of a large gripe session and to be able to put a bunch of pictures on their Instagram.

Not to say I won't, but you know how militant some modern day progressives are.
Militant?

As far as I know, yesterday's events were pretty peaceful. No riots, no destruction, nobody burned or broke anything that was private property. I could be wrong.

Well, then that should clear it up.
