That was actually a solid first half from the defense. Hopefully they can do it for the whole game.

I think it's more the coaching. He looked really good his freshman year. Seems to have regressed since then.

Hard to find much fault with the defense in the first half. The offensive line did not help the running backs at all. Flanker screens and hitting backs out in the flat could result in big gains and big plays…Open up the playbook and pass on first down every now and then instead of constantly pounding the middle for very little gain.

This program isn't really improving at all.

This team has high-level talent and the product on the field, aside from Maye and some offense, is, at best, nothing special.

When this team starts playing in conference, it's going to get really ugly.
