Joel Berry missing in action. We didn't guard Trip at all. Literally at all. Dude had 3 three's with nobody within 10 feet of him.
Need to drive the ball and pound the paint.

That's his game. If the refs gonna allow it then we need to deny him the ball in the first place.Just damn. Let Trippy McWhiplash push off to get space and his punk arse drains a 3 to end it.
Agreed. Bradley got rooted out before he even shot and got the foul call. A couple "air ball" shots including one by Maye, his arms were basically taken off. And early in the game Berry got hockey checked to the floor.... in all cases, its "play on"lol 4 of the 5 replays they have shown of our guys shooting they were fouled on. With no call
Yep - not a whole lot of contested shots by us. And they made some that were. Refs need to stop ignoring them fouling us on shots as well as the push offsMaybe Williams shifts to Trip for a while. Someone has to pick up Kennard then. Maybe Pinson. Need to make some adjustments at half time.
I know....... we have people all over in the lane..... especially Berry.... guarding the literal paint on the floor and nobody else. What purpose does that serve? Do you think Roy could tell them to never leave their guy on the three line? And see how that works? No way they miss enough open 3's to lose. Guarded 3's? I like our chances much better.Every year I try not to get mad knowing how Roy's teams are but just for this game can we freakin guard the perimeter? Trips has shot a couple treys with nobody within 10 feet of him.
Um, we're shooting 56% from the field.

How many possessions have ended with turnovers that ended up without a shot being taken?
Is Duke that much better at setting screens to free their perimeter players or are we just letting them get free?I know....... we have people all over in the lane..... especially Berry.... guarding the literal paint on the floor and nobody else. Understood. Should have worded my post to more accurately reflect what I meant.A ton. But that was replying to someone saying we couldn't buy a bucket.
Tru, great observation. It's always a point of emphasis in November and then they stop calling it.
wow! Luke with the turnaround!
