We are 4 of 15 from downtown and playing like shit. Very poor shot selection.
Refs caught up in the emotion of the crowd during a VT run and decide to not call theo getting drilled in the lane. Solid.
V tech takes the lead hitting from the outside while UNC cannot put a beach boy in the ocean 36-32
Bad shooting and shot selection. KW needs to shoot threes when he's open, or he's a total non-factor on offense. Passed up two open threes and we ended up getting much worse shots. I know he's struggling but you gotta keep shooting.
That Theo pass was probably the worst pass we've made all year, haha. Other than that it's hard to point out specific faults. We gave up some open threes but I suppose that's not going to change.

It seems we can't shoot from outside the Dean Dome? Starting to be a trend unless I'm mixing my games up. Need much more outside shooting prowess to win with this team.
I mean this team is just middle of the pack in the ACC caliber right now. That's not to say there isn't room for improvement but we just aren't that talented. I told you after we beat ND by 1 without Bonzie and Farrell that this team has some huge question marks. Ya think ND only beats us by 1 if Maye and Berry are hurt? Yeah, no f'n chance.
Same old BS. Another team that can only beat you by shooting 3 pointers and Carolina refuses to guard the 3 point line. VT with a team full of midgets and Roy refuses to play his bigs. A 15 point swing to end the half and Roy eats another timeout that he will lose anyway.
Sorta yes, sorta no. He's one of our best players, but he's not playing like one of the best PGs in the country, which is what we hoped he'd be.
Playing the bigs more would exacerbate the 3pt issues without providing much in return. They're not good in the post.
Joel and Luke with 23 of our 32 points. Cam, Theo and Kenny haven't gotten off the bus yet. Very poor effort on the whole.
Thought he played a fine half. He and Kenny both just aren’t making 3s but at least he’s contributing.

Carolina’s last two defensive possessions were just sad. Bilas made the comment of nobody having their hand up on another possession. If they don’t lock in better on defense, they will lose this one.

I mean, they are 4th in the nation in 2-point percentage. They shoot 60% on their twos!!!
Their team is short (actually it's not really, they only play 1 player under 6-5, they just have only one true big), but they actually shoot less threes than the D1 average (193rd in the country). They are 7-12 from two against us, continuing their trends.
Kenny passes up more open threes, to the tune of a turnover and a tough Luke miss.

Kenny is great at drawing charges but the last two were not wise. The first he was way inside the circle, and the second he didn't have position and Robinson was going to have to take a tough shot if he just went straight up.
