"Holding" dook to 28 points should have been good enough for a victory. I'm just not sure where Mitch was throwing that last pass.

I think Bug was the receiver in the area, and if he had gone there, either he catches the ball or drops it or is interfered with. Was Bug held by a Dookie LB or DB? Did he make the wrong cut? Did Trubisky forget the route and throw to the wrong spot?

It was 1 of the 3. We can't know for certain.
