I’m not sure GT is set up to compete at a high level anymore. GT is about the only school that doesn’t have one of those “majors” that many athletes gravitate too. So just keeping them in school makes a difference in who they can recruit. Everybody else seems to be able to bring in transfers from anywhere. Not so at GT. They have certain academic requirements that must be met. And their NIL at GT is severely lacking, or non existent. Word has it that they have been beaten out for players by mid majors who had better NIL deals. Not to mention the vague support from a fan base in Atlanta. GT could be a good job, but they must make some changes if they want to be a serious player again. Until they do, the next guy is just getting hits to be fired a few years down the road
