Okay I’m curious, why is that?I would say he's not as knowledgeable on this one.
I thought it was a pretty good gif from the standpoint of picking an appropriate gif in response to your post. Whether what it seems to say is good or bad depends on your perspective. I would say neither or both. I only meant for it to convey somebody who has just been given something else interesting to think about, along the lines of pondering new coaches.haha i don’t know if that’s a good or bad gif
bullshitWhich means what to you? Any NFL owner of a franchise that is doing bad on the field and/or at the ticket booth that believed that Belichick is all there, that he is still a top level coach, would give him full control.
Dooley was only 32.Bill Dooley was coordinator at UGA when he came to UNC.
I would say he's not as knowledgeable on this one.Adam shefter, prob the most professional and knowledgeable of all sports journalists, says talks are ongoing between belichick and unc but at this point he feels it’s a long shot.
That is a legit question the staff should ask in the mirror. My concern is why does this staff feel the need to reinvent the wheel every year?
It's almost like they don't want to do what has been done here for years, like they are hell bent on creating their own identity that is far from what they know works.
That is the attitude that was one of the factors in what send Dougherty down the road.
haha i don’t know if that’s a good or bad gif
My concern is why does this staff feel the need to reinvent the wheel every year? Not exactly. They got away from it at times but restored it and the results came with it when they did.
The most egregious was during the debacle two seasons ago when they first tried (disastrously) the 5-out nonsense --- or as @Tarheel75 and I called it, "the unfortunate offensive experiment".
As we speak, I'm actually sitting here watching last season's dook game at HIS and the Secondary was alive and well (and making me nostalgic). Having some different personnel now is no good reason to change Dean's greatest invention.
I won't argue that both could be having better seasons. Difference is RJ is a 2 guard that depends on his shots falling to be successful and EC is a PG that depends on other people reacting to defensive schemes and anticipating the ball and that aint happening in any way shape or form and once again I will point back to that being a coaching thing. I would also like to note that UNC (traditionally) has been a team that was known for generating offense with their defense and this year UNC's best defense is other teams not being able to hit open shots.u talking about RJ being the sacred cow? EC has been the second coming buddy.
Not exactly. They got away from it at times but restored it and the results came with it when they did.It feels like we’ve been saying restore the Carolina secondary and principles taught by Dean and Roy for four years now. For whatever reason, it seems apparent this all Carolina staff refuses to use the blueprint that was successful for decades.
