Who Has the Toughest Schedule Down the Stretch (ACC)

I just used Pomeroy's game rankings because it was easier. Listed in order of current standing, showing conference W-L. I'm assuming Pomeroy's A and B assessment bear some similarity to Quad 1 and 2. Maybe someone can comment on that.

With nearly a week until their next game what if anything should the Basketball 🏀 team work on?

First thing of course would be to rehab any injuries they may have like what Puff Johnson and RJ Davis are going thru and for everybody at this time to relax and enjoy this small break before the second half of the season starts again.

Secondly I would like to see the team continue to improve on their perimeter defense and saying that get out and run a lot more after missed opponents shots.

Thirdly I really enjoyed how Davis and Love drove against NC State’s man to man defense which lead to easy layups and a ton of free throw attempts instead of shooting bombs from downtown Cary. Personally I would like Black and Nance with their height advantages to also drive which could result in easier baskets or free throws instead of relying on long corner threes.

The 4th item I would like to see is the team just getting totally focused for the home stretch with them believing and trusting each other in both practices and game situations…

Feel free to add some more…

Why aren't the questions being asked?

It seems a lot of us have the same questions, so I'm sure the beat reporters covering UNC basketball have them too. I'm wondering why more people aren't asking Coach Davis directly about the hard questions. Are reporters afraid to ask direct questions anymore? Is everything have to be a softball for the coach for fear of not getting chosen the next press conference?

I would love someone to ask Coach Davis, who I love by the way, why our substitution pattern is so sporadic. I would love someone to ask him why certain players, who we all know who it is, will not get pulled regardless of effort or performance. There are a million more of these types of questions that we all ask each other, but no one seems to be asking the source. Are they asking these and I'm missing it? If so, I sure love to know where to go to see his responses.

Why was Rece Davis so pro Cuse last night?

Let’s be perfectly clear here Rece Davis will never ever be as skilled behind the mike as a Jay Bilas but last night was a poor effort and a poor excuse for the way he called the contest.

Debbie Antoneli was not much better doing the color for the game but Rece Davis’s obvious bias for the Cuse was unacceptable.

I am sure everyone noticed how his voice showed excitement and enthusiasm when the Orange 🍊 made their run to get back into the game and when Girard hit a go ahead three late I thought he was coming unglued. He sure got quiet moments later when that same Girard a senior made that BONEHEAD assist to Nance for the game winner.

Some of you might remember when Billy Packer worked Carolina games and as great as he was as a Wake Forest guard his disdain for Carolina was also very obvious It was so bad that none of the UNC players after the Tar Heels had beat Georgetown wanted to be interviewed by him or answer any of his postgame questions.,Rece Davis did his best Billy Packer last night for some reason…

I wonder if any of you watching the contest last night also noticed the slobber mess so heavily favoring Syracuse…
