All our kids are on campus and Roy has said hello to Mando, literally, like they passed in the hallway, and Roy has seen Jeremiah but has not seen any of our kids playing yet. It is interesting as I think medical staff & trainers are all checking Jeremiah out, just to be sure.

Bryce can play PG right? I just sort of assumed we were recruiting him for that position. He seems to have the ball in his hands most of the time.

I think we will be a very attractive spot for 5 star PGs in 2020. UNC will likely have back to back PGs picked in the top 10 of the NBA draft by the time they would step on campus.

Completely forgot ab Francis... only thing that worries me is how fast he can get back to pre injury Francis. If it’s not Cade Cunningham, then we likely won’t land another lottery pick like Cole to run it that year. Don’t know much and Cam Hayes other than I think he goes to Greensboro Day

True, but I'm thinking Oz is also onto something. If Bacot starts the whole season for a Final Four contender, I'm not sure he doesn't strike while the iron is hot a la Coby. Neither planned on being OAD, but when the opportunity presents itself, how do you say no?

6-6 power wing Earl Timberlake offered by Roy.... Kid is a player but I wonder about his fit for his height.

Roy has offered a number of wings for 2020:
Zaire Williams 5*, Bryce Thompson 5*, Jaden Springer 5*, Puff 4*, Cam'ron Fletcher 4* and now Timberlake 4*

The Heels lose Keeling, Pierce, Robinson and Rush from the wing after this season so I'm guessing he wants at least two from this group... likely 3 with at least one 5*.

Puff currently on an unofficial along with 3* point, Shakeel Moore.

Wonder how his visit went. You have seen him way more than i have but was really impressed with his jumper, has come along way. Plays pickup at our local Y with my son and some other locals, good kid it seems. I agree on top , would love to hear your take on his game as you have watched him quite a bit i assume.

I like Shak hard nose defender competes at all times super athletic. Jump shot has improved tremendously should be top 100 kid based off some of the ones in front of him in 2020. Since he reclassed years before I assume he could come in 2019 saw State offered and he can go 2019 and do a redshirt year.

We need a PG ready to go in 2020...unfortunately I don't think Shak fits that bill. If we miss on all of our top 40 ranked PGs and have to resort to Shak to for our PG from this class then we're in a bit of trouble.

I think Hunter Dickinson ends up at Notre Dame or Purdue, but Louisville has done a tremendous job working its way into the picture. Things changed some Monday, though, when North Carolina offered. The Tar Heels have to continue to pursue Dickinson if they want to have a chance, but UNC is now a legitimate suitor for the most polished center in America. (Rivals.com)

Saw a nice article over at Daily Tar Heel re important contributors to our tar Heel fortunes this coming season.
I was skeptical so I read on, the numbers support so the three guys we need a lot from this season, since they are returning upper classmen, Garrison, BRob and Leaky. They will be very important to us and leading younger Heels.

OH, and happy birthday to K.J. Smith, kid is 23 today....love to see more from him as well.

No matter how this class turns out, I think we should give Roy credit for not sticking to his guns and changing up his tactics in this class.

• He's not zeroing in one one or two guys and spreading the love very evenly
• Not offering a bunch of guys who are heavy leans elsewhere
• Offering a bunch of mid-range burger boys who could be here longer than one year.
• (My favorite) offered the guys who seem to have the most interest in UNC (i.e. Ziaire, Love, etc.)

Despite getting slack for suggesting this before, I've been hoping he'd recruit like this for a while. Reminds me of 2016, only without the desperation due to the circumstances surrounding our program. I think it's going to pay off big for us.

His EXTREME athleticism and improving jump shot with what should be a multiple year college career works for me. We most likely will get a top point target, with OAD potential.

His left handed mannerisms remind me of Travis Best for some reason, just with extreme highlight reel leaping ability...lol

Would not be shocked to see Roy offer 4-Star point guard RJ Davis. Hubert scouted him this past weekend. The kid is blowing up and attracting a lot of attention right now.

No oz, coach is loading up. Seems corey evans is of the opinion that the Heels may get 2-3 or perhaps more out of the '20 class. If that holds look out. Another natty or two!

As you know, there is a few of these in every single class. Those guys that Roy has practically zero chance at but recruits anyway. At least with this class we have a wide net and aren’t spending too much emphasis on certain recruits that will inevitably go elsewhere.
