Cuse Game

How do we see this playing out? It was barely a week ago that we beat them thoroughly in the dome but basketball is a game where all that matters is how well you play on any given night and we certainly played our most complete game against Cuse last time. I’ll be at the Coliseum cheering hard!

Garrison's activity flashing to the FT line in the zone will be the key. When we have that 4 man who can stretch it out, hit a FT jumper, and make the right decision on the catch in that spot we beat Cuse.

We went 4-0 vs Cuse with Hicks/Meeks/Brice doing this extremely well in 2015-17.

We currently own an 8 game winning streak on the orangemen. Roy has figured out how to best them. Sounds simple but We just need to execute.

Gotta shoot the ball well, that zone will be an issue if it’s a night that Carolina only hits 4 or 5 from three point land.

When we beat them couple weeks ago one big thing was we hit jumpshots. Keeling had 18 points and Anthony was 7-11 from 3. Got to execute and hit our shots.

Anthony is going to have another monster game tonight. I’m calling for 30/7/7.

The players may be at a strategical disadvantage for this game. We carved that zone up with ease, last time. It was almost flawless(and for this team to do that, the opposing coach has to consider some major adjustments). Hopefully, Boeheim (who is as stubborn as Roy) plays that same expected version of the zone. Also, Bacot played little last time so Garrisons operating area will be restricted and Bacots defender will be close by this matchup. Bacot has got to show up big on the boards(especially offensive).

Last Syracuse game we shot lights out. (52,42,88%-fg,3pt,fthrows). Garrison, Cole, Keeling had monster games. We can't duplicate those numbers, so we have to win this game on the defensive end. We will need a better defensive effort than the first half last nite vs VT. Will be watching the "want to" effort early.
