Flying Flynny . .

i know...but i noticed cnn is using it daily, broadcasting on it the screen, and is saying "so on day 25...."
I think fox actually has a show dedicated to his first 100 days that is literally called 100 days. I guess they had to one up CNN.

ETA: Just looked it up. It's called The First 100 days and it's hosted by Martha MacCallum.

So the US should have just accepted the ass-kicking Japan gave us that day and shrugged it off? To better phrase my question, what should the US have done?
I'm not "The US", so the question is useless.

What I'm talking about here is a much higher consciousness. I'm saying that the human race can learn to hold itself to a higher standard. That starts with each individual doing that as well. If you're not willing to do it yourself- if you can't be an advocate for peace under all circumstances- then you are advocating for the rest of humanity to mimic you. You're an advocate for violence... in every form it can take. Whatever you do to the least of my brethren, you have done it to me. Whatever you do to another, you do it to yourself.

I think you have an unrealistic view of reality. To use an analogy, it's like setting a sales goal of $1,000,000 for your company salesperson...when your company has never even eclipsed $500,000 yet. You may have lofty hopes...but you're completely out of touch with what is realistic.

I agree with this in theory, but in reality it will never happen. It's just built into every animal's DNA to protect themselves from a perceived threat. Doesn't hurt to try though.

I just know that telling a guy pointing a gun at me that I'd never shoot him is a shitty way of trying to not get shot myself.
By the way, this is an interesting perspective.

You have decided to put yourself in a hypothetical situation like that in order to justify your preference for violence. You've never experienced this, personally, have you? Even if you have, it really doesn't matter. You've still chosen to advocate violence because you're afraid of what other people MIGHT do to you. So, when you see violence (of any form, to any degree), you've consented to it and basically encouraged more because, if people don't fight back then "evil wins", or something to that effect.

If you can think it, you can do it. I'm definitely asking people to rise above their "animal DNA." Because, I feel sure our DNA can allow for us to improve ourselves and go beyond what we "think" we're limited to.

I guess some folks live in an alternate universe. Shit happens and always will.

If you can think it, you can do it. Reality is relative.

"An unrealistic view of reality." That was cool. That's a Salvador Dali painting, I bet.

Meanwhile, Russia is launching cruise missiles in violation of its treaty with the U.S. and doing drive-bys in a spy ship 70 miles off the coast of Delaware. We cool, though.

I just assumed this has been happening for decades. I'm also willing to bet China has done whatever it can do within it's capabilities. It's hard for me to get upset at any country using their military to spy on us since we do the exact same thing. That's just how the world works.

How the world works? Peace, love my brother.
Written from my alternate universe

Have to give @strummingram a tip of the hat for sticking to his guns (so to speak) on the non-violence thing.
I'm just kidding.

Praise the lord and pass the ammo! Let's kill us some foreigners! They'd kill us if they had the chance!

Oh, no doubt. The whole reason Flynn got blown up is that we had a wire tap on the phone at the Russian embassy in D.C. I just think the timing of spy ship sighting is interesting, because it's basically Putin poking us in the eye after the events of the last 24 hours.

Apparently he had a conversation with the Russian ambassador about the sanctions on them last year on the same day they were announced. He said he didn't, but has now admitted that he did.
The $64,000 question is did he do this on his own (not likely) or was he given the OK from higher up?

Whatever, you fraud.
Look, sweetheart. You are wanting me to advocate and condone violence when and where it doesn't exist. You make up these hypothetical situations and say "Will you kill them now?" I'm not falling for it. I'm not allowing my conscience to advocate it when it's not even present. I'm not going to create an instinct for myself that is based in fear, if I can help it. So, meantime, suck a fart out of my ass. Peace!

At least your tantrums are legitimate.

Have a nice trip General ShitHead. Worst pick ever for a national security advisor . .

It appears that Trumpy is finally getting around to draining that swamp. Perfect place to start I should think . .
Next, get rid of all the Obama hold-overs who've been leaking Top Secret SIGINT to the left-stream press... Fire 'em, then Fry 'em.

The $64,000 question is did he do this on his own (not likely) or was he given the OK from higher up?
and, if he was directed to do so by Trump, so what? You gonna hold him to a 1799 law enacted when Adams was POTUS and for which no one has ever been prosecuted, even under far worse circumstances?

The ship is probably there because Russia is trying to make up for all intel they lost when their spies were finally kicked out of the US as Obama was skulking out the door...
