Nope. You didn't. You quoted a single piece of what I said to take all the context out. Really is there where you are trying to go on this board as literally a moderator?I quoted exactly what you said.
Sure. What happened approx 4 weeks ago that caused him to make up his mind? (Assuming he did). Why, if he was leaning UNC, didn't he wait until Justin Jackson announced his intentions? And why did Duke fans feel like Duke was the leader again right around this time that he seemingly made up his mind? The timing just doesn't jive here. He may have heard that Justin was as good as gone. He may be trying to throw ppl off his scent. But I think he just felt comfortable enough with the UNC program that he doesn't care if Justin stays around. He assumes he will be showcased anywhere he goes. That's because he has been told---by every coach-- that he is a surefire OAD. Every single coach that has come on campus has told him he will be playing in the NBA in 2018. So again, I think it just comes down to comfortCare to elaborate on the timing issues?
The interview I saw yesterday said he was announcing towards the end of his spring break. Which I believe is the week after the Jordan Classic. As far as a timing issue I find it hard to believe with an announcement at the MJ event that it would be anything other than UNC . jmho
Shame our literal moderator's reading comprehension can be questioned then. = ((( Oh well.I read the whole thing, THAT jumps out at you. You posted it, not me.
Because when you are one you should not voice bad opinions purposely. Like, say, cutting out 90% of the post to reply to a comment which now no longer says what it initially did. Like, that's pretty bush, bud.Dang man, why you keep throwing "moderator" up in my face? I'm also a Die Hard Tar Heel, I can voice my opinion as well can't I?
Np bud. I got ya. Just looking out. Thanks for your expertise on this, will keep it in mind down the road after I enjoy this run.![]()
We've been in back to back National Championships, how can it compare with playing for Cuonzo Martin? Makes total sense...Who wouldn't want to be part of the rich tradition that is Missouri Tigers basketball. They're the Tigers right?
Duke lost in the first round in 2014 but that didn't deter Okafor, Winslow, or Jones from coming in the next year. I know what you're saying but I don't think potential OAD's (Knox) really care that much about what a team did the year before except for maybe how the person who played their prospective positions did (in UNC's case obviously this is a plus). Simmons went to LSU, Fultz to Washington, Smith to NC State, all teams were dumpster fires that missed the tournament, and Simmons went #1 overall and the other 2 will be lottery picks at worst. Basically the top kids nowadays pick schools based on it being a business decision- how can I get to make millions the fastest. I'm not a fan of it but it is what it is.To young Sirs Knox and Hamilton........
Dook flamed out of the NCAA Tourney early yet AGAIN, loaded with can't miss players, many of whom couldn't even get into the game due to the way K runs his teams.
UNC went all the way, Won the National Championship, beating Kentucky (One and Done U) and Number 1 seed Gonzaga among others.
I know which school and Coach I would pick. How 'bout you guys?
When someone is a year away from $20 million guaranteed, I don't blame them for making it all about business. Not at all. I wish we had a better system where kids could go out of high school, or otherwise stay a couple years in college. But I'd surely be doing the same thing if I were in their shoes given the current environment.Duke lost in the first round in 2014 but that didn't deter Okafor, Winslow, or Jones from coming in the next year.
