Yes it is pretty early to post this but I will be leaving soon to go to the game from the Triad area and I figured I would go ahead start it up. I am expecting a real war tonight with desire and rebounding being the major factors on who prevails. People often said in the past that only the wine and cheese crowds show up for Carolina games but being on national TV and being so important in the standings I expect the noise to rival a Duke home game. This game will not be for the weak at heart but being at home I feel the Heels will find a way to pull out the victory. I will try and still give updates from the game...

We are a little better on most measures. But that Pitino is a crafty sucker. Even though they lost King, they have a decent backcourt, more height than we are used to up front, and play disruptive D that could well give us trouble for part of the game.

Our last outing against a tall team on our court was when we spanked FSU by 13. FSU beat Louisville a week later (when Llv still had Hicks and King). Not sure what that tells us.

If I am Pitino, I work to get our front line in foul trouble. I'd start by running play after play against Isaiah.

We'll need to withstand and adapt to ferocious D out of the gate. Pitino will want to knock us on our heels early if he can. But if we weather it, then we have the edge.
