Ever since Pitino told his kids that he'd cancel the strippers and escorts if they didn't box out, they've played well in the paint.
This is a game that exposes Luke Maye. He's unable to compete on the defensive boards against the Cards' tall timber.
I hear ya but he was pretty good against bigger FSU. Hasn't been clean which hurts him.
I expected a street fight. UL is good and has depth, athleticism and a HOF coach. Now, we haven't played our best and we have gotten caught in some screens and our big guys have been drawn out more than they are used to, but we are winning. Make some adjustments on defense and start getting some shots to fall and we could be sitting pretty dang good for the ACC title.
How many times are they going to knock Theo on his arse before someone calls a foul?
57-45 with 8 to go. Got to give Meeks kudos for playing long minutes tonight with Hicks continuing to get fouls. Meeks has held up well against the Cards big players.
Bradley's playing well but could sure use that dunk. I actually don't think he got fouled looking at the replay.
4 and counting. Maybe the fifth will be a charm. I'll be surprised if they don't call Hicks for a foul when Theo hits the ground the next time.
Damn if Hicks doesn't seem like he comes out of the locker room for warm ups before tip off with 3 fouls. Don't know what is going on with him, but he needs to figure it out. We need you on the court big fella!
