OK, 10 point lead with under a minute to go, so I think this one is about done, barring a collapse for the history books.
All in all, this was a really good win for us. UL is a dang good team and we played them very well without Hicks. UL gave up a TON of points at the line, but we pretty much shut them down in the second half.

Wow the way dook lost is so sweet. Cannot ask for a better night for the Heels. Two game lead on everyone, de facto 3 game lead on ND and Lou.
I wanna know the full story behind what the fan said that got Pitino so hot. If it's really what ESPN said, that he just said he sucks, that's the biggest joke I've ever heard.
Last time I remember being this excited about a Dook loss was the FSU shot at Cameron back in 2012.
I thought it was a very good win. L Ville is TOUGH on the inside and abused us in the first half . We took it to them in the second and played a very good defensive game IMO overall. They missed a ton of shots at FT line and from the outside... we KNOW what that can do to your chances of winning.

Much worse things are said almost every night to every road team player and fan. Remember the Maryland fans? I assume you guys can tell a story or two about the NCsu fans. And I'm going to go on a limb and say Kentucky fans have said more colorful things to him while at Lou
Again not justifying it but pitino in his personal life and how his team has "recruited" has made him a big target. Maybe the guy called him Pimptino or something.
Quick Rick was still all bent out of shape in the post game. Guy needs to grow up, an insult from a random fan shouldn't get to him like that.
The way you treat others is a sign of your character, so getting in someone's face to say "You suck" is an indication that you are a bigger buttmunch than the person you try to insult. I'd be happy to hear the fool's ability to buy tickets will be taken under consideration.

He didn't get in anyone's face. As you can clearly see from the video the fan was in the stands and you don't even see him in the same frame as Pitino until he gets dragged out of the stands. And "you suck"? Pitino gets paid millions to go into hostile environments (which I'd hardly consider DES to be, but that's for another thread), and he can't stomach an insult you'd hear on the Kindergarten playground?
I'd hope the fan relinquishes his ticket buying on his own. A paying customer getting treated like that...
To hurl an insult like you S___ is not something I would be proud of but gosh, it is the real world. So yes, it is something our fans should not do, but a grown man like Mr. Rick is a fool to have to be restrained by his peeps. This coming from the coach who by all accounts knew and agreed with the call girls helping to recruit. Who has the high ground here Mr. Pitino?
There was no "getting into his face". Dude yelled you suck from his seat. Is this for real? Pitino snapped because an opponent fan said "You Suck Pitino". I didnt realize Pitino was such a sensitive little child. Oh wait, he did flick off the Kentucky crowd after a game. Pitino has no evidence of losing his cool.....

From all accounts, it does sound like an overreaction by Pitino. And while I'd rather not hear that from our fans, he gets paid millions of dollars to endure such things. He comes across as rather thin skinned sometimes.
Remember he coached the Boston Celtics for a few years? Had a very infamous quote of :"all the negativity in this town (Boston-his own fan base) SUCKS!" So he basically can say that to many thousand fans but can't handle it when reciprocated.
Jesus Christ...with fans like you, no wonder why Sam Cassell labeled us the "Wine and Cheese" crowd. "You suck" makes you a "buttmunch"? LMFAO!!
don't go all girly-man on us. A few more "punk" fans would help fill Kenan and the DES.
