NFL 2019-20

275lb Garrett (who ended the jets qb’s season with a late helmet to helmet hit) took 190lb rudolph to the ground long after the play was dead. Rudolph tried to grab garretts head and helmet. Garrett then smashed rudolphs unprotected skull with a six lb blunt object.

"Steven A. Sharpton" Brilliant and funny because it's true.

SAS is a clown, fool, stooge, unaware or doesn't care how badly he comes across, just thinking his talking louder or with more attitude helps make his point better.

Did Garrett get suspended the rest of this year? Plus playoffs - no way they are making the playoffs. That seems about right to me.

I don't know what the official penalties are for the melee. I just saw this assessment from Kellerman in the panel and it made perfect sense to me. I'm not excusing ANYTHING that Garrett did. He is responsible for reacting like a caveman. But, let's be blunt, these guys are out there getting paid to do one of the most baser instinct behaviors and it's a multi-bazillion dollar industry. It's modern-day Circus Maximus

check out what samuel l. jackson said...wowzers

has oj weighed in as of yet?
OJ is on my short list (maybe top of the list) of celebrity (well known names) that I wish something bad would happen to. I suppose that makes me a bad person.

I guess I'd settle for somehow never hearing from him or seeing his face ever again. Straight up vicious murderer, with no remorse, no regret, even seems smug about how he got away with it and can just sort of return to celebrity status in society. That's so despicable.

My mom has convinced me that OJ wasn't the killer. She thinks he was involved but that he wasn't actually the one that did the killing. She thinks it was his son. I never cared that much so I didn't follow it but the case my mom makes is pretty good. And no, my mom is not Johnny Cochran.

man, the Panthers always suck against the Falcons... and man, do I freaking hate the falcons
You should go back to being a Vikings fan. They seem to know how to win. I'm even trying to encourage my brother to start pulling for them. He lives near Minneapolis and it would sorta be like a home-team. He refuses. Try being a Redskins fan. It was 5 games before they scored a TOUCHDOWN! And, we're chained to a fairly young owner who is essentially a Captain Ahab. There's NOTHING to EVER look forward to, as a result. Imagine the misery. Between the Redskins and the Tar Heels, football season is a 4-month self-induced torture session. Losing is all we know.

I still pull for them as a secondary team. But I won't believe that Cousins can lead them deep into the playoffs until I see it.

How long has DeShaun Watson been in the league? I'd put him in the good category, but I don't think he has much around him. I have him on my fantasy team.

Jackson is rocking and rolling, at the moment.

Mr. Biscuits is looking worse and worse all the time. I hope he invested his money.

good call, totally forgot about him...he’s a third year dude...i’d put him in the good category.

Hahahaha. In what world would Mason Rudolph, Jameis Winston, Sam Darnold and Mitch Trubisky be rated better than Carson Wentz and Jared Goff? Not the real one.

if you want to rate all six as average to below average, cool...however, until you make a valid point, you’ll continue to not be taken seriously.

Ya. Winston, Rudolph, Darnold, and Mitch are all pretty bad, IMO.

I think Goff got figured out and can't really read a defense, so I think he's only marginally better than that group.

I don't get the hate for Wentz though. Prescott is having a good season, but I'd assume if every GM was picking one of the two to start a franchise with - Wentz would be the pick for the majority.

Bro, your takes are the stuff of legends for how bad they are. In other words, we all laugh when you poast something. I promise. You can ask anyone. So I just wanted to openly laugh at you and get this out on the table.

How's that for valid?

Yeah, I hope Lamar stays healthy (and avoids the RG3 path); he's becoming a better all around QB than I ever thought he'd be at this level.

As for Mitchell... He was trending upward last year, but now... UGH. There is chatter about da Bears going after Cam, so if that happens, a new home for Mitch might be the best thing.

Isn't Jackson just an overall bigger guy, in stature and bulk, than RG3? Griffin always seemed like a rag-doll, and seemed smaller.

haha, well short, again...you were doing so well staying away.

and i don’t see anyone anymore gushing over wentz and goff...prescott is getting better, whereas the other two he’s compared to in that class have regressed.

Oh, I get it now. @gteeitup is pissy because people aren't falling over themselves to talk about Dem Boyz.

I like Prescott. I like him more as a person than as a QB. And I think he's a pretty good QB.

they’re an average football team, so i don’t believe anyone is falling all over them.

I don't even know what you're trying to say here. Kind of like most of your poasts. Do better.

i know you don’t...and that’s okay.

Oh, the joys of being a Panthers fan. Just shoot me.

Or better yet... shoot that sorry-ass excuse for a kicker they have. Bum missed 2 XPs and a potential game winning FG
Gotta be happy they hung-in there and went to OT.

Think they'll keep Newton?

awesome watching that talent in dallas look unprepared and under coached...the patriots adjust series to series, dallas adjusts month to month.

Shocker, am I right? Who saw that coming?
Garrett to Belicheck in coaching is like comparing Rutgers to Ohio State in college football this year. Epic mismatch. Still - this was such a winnable game - New England's offense was mostly poor - scored 3 points outside of the two early basic turnovers Dallas gift wrapped for them. It feels like through 11 games Dallas must be about -20 in the turnover differential.

I'm surprised the team and coaches didn't show up wearing their September Miami short sleeves and sun visors gear. They get ambushed and crap the bed every single week early in the game. Happened again yesterday. How does it take until basically halftime to figure out Dak can't throw well in this weather without a glove?

Comically bad special teams. I think that special teams coach is getting fired before this Thursday. They got 6 yards total on 3 returns, missed a FG (dumb to even kick it there), had a punt blocked, gave up a ton of yards on punt penalties, and were lucky to recover one kickoff they couldn't even catch in the air. Terrible.

I am guessing Jerry Jones may see himself as a good friend of Robert Kraft of the Pats, and sees himself as running a franchise on the same level as Kraft's Pats. Which is fall down laughing hysterical, delusional. I think that is why it PO'd Jerry so much that he came out with strong words about "100% this game was about coaching and we 100% got outcoached". I'm not sure if Cowboys make the playoffs this year - I'd put it at 50-50 just because Philly is a mess too, but I'm thinking Garrett is gone even if they win one game in the playoffs, which I'd put the chances at about 20% at best even if they do make the playoffs. I'd say its a 80+% chance Garrett is gone. He could be gone before end of year if Cowboys go belly up in the next two games. Both are must wins.

There's no shame in losing at New England, especially when NE gets some timely, questionable officiating help.....but that's what makes losing to Jets, losing to a Brees-less Saints, gagging at home against a just OK Packers and Vikings team. they should be 2-2 at worst in those games.

Oh - and Jason Witten needs to re-retire. He looked terrible on two important passes, right through his hands.
