Don't care. They earned a spot. If you're going to call it an automatic bid, it should be to the actual tournament not the almost-but-not-quite-there game.

That just makes too much damn sense. Those committee clowns would never go for that.
Let's just turn the entire season into one gigantic NCAA Tournament. Use preseason rankings to rank all D1 teams from 1 to however many there are and the last one standing wins. Yeah.
This would be the best solution, which is why I feel like it has no chance at happening.
This way - teams would know prior to their conference tournaments if they needed to GAF in their conference tourney in order to make it into the big dance.
On his weekly radio show Monday night I heard Gottfried say that there should be 72 teams in the tournament. I laughed out loud ... that's what you say when your team is sitting at home this week.

Soooo I'm starting to get nervous. Not necessarily for this game today, per se, but just for our tournament run in general. I'm going to try to sit back and just enjoy the ride (which will last all of three minutes until Roy puts in a dumb lineup or Meeks pisses me off and I start yelling at the TV).

Typical NCAAT refs that haven't seen vanilla whip & Co's antics, fall for that crap. The ACCT refs didn't and you see how quickly they got bounced.
In fairness, UNCW earned several cheap fouls too. Those refs liked seeing themselves blow their whistle.
