I just watched Marcus in the post-game presser and his whole body was trembling and mouth was quivering while answering questions. I just hurt for those kids, mostly him.
Then do more you dumb hillbilly. Please retire. I don't care if we hire gary7 as our next coach. I'm over it.
I'm drunk and tired. Peace out OOTB. I still say our defense on that last sequence was dreadful. They were shooting a 3 come he'll or high water. To not guard that out deep was stupid as shit.
Never understood why they make the kids do that after a loss. The pros get paid to do it, but these kids don't.
I will never feel more empathy for someone I don't personally know than I will for Marcus Paige tonight. What a true Tar Heel. My heart aches for him. It truly does. I'm sick over it.
The worst part about losing like that is that they will show that shot every year during the tournament. EVERY F•••ING YEAR.

It made me feel better for a while but now I am back to feeling sick again.

That dude couldn't pass a mental evaluation. His elevator doesn't come within 15 stories of the top floor. His "LTCC" posts are more Pack Pride esque than half the posts on Pack Pride

Jenkins made a helluva shot and Nova played a helluva game. Can't take anything away from them. Villanova didn't need help, but definitely got a friendly whistle. The kids deserved better. Tough to watch.
If everyone stays, realistically, how good will we be next year. I would expect Justin and berry to turn it up a notch. Kenny will start contributing with more playtime. Same with maye. I don't follow recruiting much, but I don't want to rely on freshmen to lead a team. So where will we stand? Top 15 team perhaps?
We should be ok next year but not likely to be a FF contender; it wouldn't fit in Roy's 3-4 year plan.... 05, 09, (12), (16).
Well this sucks. Helluva game. Incredible guts by Marcus to put us in the position to possibly force OT. Was yelling to cover the inbounder and will never understand why we had multiple defenders inside the arc when they really didn't have time to get to the rim. That last shot was as good a look as you could possibly expect with >5 seconds left, and we let 'em have it. But we had a chance in this game despite all odds - getting forced out of our bread-and-butter post game, Nova hitting tough shots all game despite good D, and a healthy dose of inexplicable calls and no-calls.
Still, what a great season! Conference regular season and tournament championships, and a title game run. Couldn't be prouder of this crop of Heels.

I question having Hicks in for a must stop possession in the game. And I'm always a proponent for guarding the inbound pass with under 5 seconds in a situation like that.
To me, the bigger question was why was Brice riding the pine when we were dying the second half. If Brice was mentally not there and would have hurt the team, that's really disappointing. But if not, have to go down with your best guys right.
The ironic part of this whole thing is I'm surprised Jay Wright didn't foul up 3. A pair of questionable coaching decisions in the last 10 seconds. Just unfortunate for us Nova had the ball last.
Nova played better and deserved to win though. A worthy champ. It just sucks because I think we played our C+ game... But Nova had a ton to do with that.
Good news that the sun came up this morning... I guess it snowing yesterday in the northeast was a bad omen for the game... Pretty much the last thing I wanted to see waking up on an April day.
There is not a better representative of UNC basketball than Marcus Paige. That kid is special and I'm gonna miss him.
