Well, considering I referred to quarters a few poasts ago, I figured it was understood that's what I was referring to in this instance. I'd research the heights of all stacked coins that add up to 50 cents, but that would be a little boring and tedious.
Yep. Team has to put in catering orders a year in advance and we stand to lose a lot of money without Meeks there.
Seriously though, why can't they just quit? I want to post something over there, but I just don't want to deal with the responses from them.
Oh I saw that thread earlier. Meh. I used to like Adam Lucas' stuff, but I don't read much of it anymore. Every piece is too saccharine and over the top. If you're still upset over the Villanova loss you need to get a life. It was a month and two days ago but feels like a year ago.
After Googling what "saccharine" meant, I agree.
For some reason, I find myself using that word a lot. It just seems to fit when people go over the top on everything, specifically, over the top positive. That's my problem with Lucas. Everything all year is positive, positive, positive.....and then when we crash out, everything is "I'm heartbroken." Well okay, maybe things weren't as positive as you thought?
I'm not sure what else you would expect or want from the guy whose job is basically to hype the team and program. That's like listening to Jones and Eric on the radio and not expecting them to be a bit biased to the Heels. I think Lucas does a phenomenal job.
Lucas didnt even reference the officials but it seems any allusion to the game brings the "blame the officials" posters out. Now somebody is claiming they intentionally gave dook their last title while of course denying us this one. What a bunch of idiots. I mean i understand lashing out when your team loses and blaming whoever but for gods sake if u really think the officials or the ncaa or god intentionally sways the outcomes of games, NEVERTHELESS singling unc out to lose, then u r a FLAMING MORON.
And, why even continue watching games if you believe they're fixed???
Let's see him lose his mind over getting called out of his fantasy world again. I'm sure since no one cares if he is right or wrong, they just like to hear anything about their team you know, he will march on unfazed and undaunted with his unique brand of stupidity.
Where did this double dribble at the end of the half come from?. That's the first I've heard of it. Does he just hold back certain calls that are, in his mind, wrong? How long does it take for him to release all of them to us so we can be blessed with all of his knowledge. I guess we are going to come back to radar in the year 2094 and see a post talking about how Villanova carried the ball at the 7:06 mark in the second half. I'm pretty sure that if Berry had punched someone in that game and got ejected he would have said that it was an offensive foul and a blown assist. Even Dave told him to let it go in that thread.
Yeah that double dribble he is referring to is too close to call. Booth didn't stop his dribble and then start again, but when he was on the right side of the lane he was dribbling with his left and moving to his left when he put his right hand very close to the ball at the same time as his left. But it's not clear because I can't see the touch actually happen from the camera angles. You would have to have been bench side on the court to see it clearly.

I dunno how jchammock has such a long leash on there. Actual fans of the team say constructive criticism about the team and get branded trolls, and this moron comes over touting a bunch of BS and leaning on "friendships" with the long-time posters over there as proof that he's a straight shooter.
Yea hes pushin the envelope hard. He'll usually back off and make friends right before he gets banned. But lately hes pushing extra hard. Prob cause dook suked so bad last year.
I don't know, guys. Jchammock's post that I've quoted below (which came immediately after Mike -- a moderator -- passive aggressively called him out for no reason, mind you) is smarter and more accurate and coherent than like 75% of all Radar posts:

What bothers me is the NBA forcing kids to go to college if they don't want to. I understand a lot of NBA teams in the past drafted and invested a lot of money into them and a lot were a bust. So that's why they started the one year deal.
But as far as my personal opinion about one year guys, it doesn't bother me. They didn't have a option and they represented UK very well. Hell, those one and dones come back year after to games, Madness, off season, etc... Most have established organizations in their new NBA town to help kids, animals, etc...
I really don't understand why anyone would hate one and done players. I also don't understand why anyone wouldn't want them on their team. Because if they are one and done, more than likely they're going to help your team.
If you're asking me if I would like to have Wall, Cousins, Bledsoe, Davis, MKG, Knight, Randle, Young, KAT, etc... For four years? Hell yes I would. And if you're asking me if one and dones have been a problem at UK? No they haven't.
I love my team. We've had four year players as well as OAD. I love them all. Anyone that comes to UK I support. As long as they do the right thing while here.
I've never understood anyone from any fanbase having a problem with a kid being forced to play one year of college. Let alone say they don't want that player. That they want a 4 year player.
That makes me SMH. You'd rather have a player that will stay four years(In which means that 99.9% of those players want see the NBA) But you don't want a OAD player which more than likely 80% will get drafted.
I'm sorry, but I'll take talent over experience. In the real world, experience and talent would be awesome. But NBA talent want stay around to get experience. That's true.
To be honest Mike, my friends I talk to on the Duke boards felt the same way UNC fans feel here about the OAD player until they started getting them. Now, they embrace them as much as a four year player. And they should. Because that OAD player is no less of a player for their program than a four year player.
And trust me Mike, in a couple of years y'all will be opening your arms to the OAD done players as well. I guarantee it. Y'all will be defending them with your last breath. But y'all (along with everyone else's fanbase including ours) will try to say their OAD players aren't like other OAD players.
The cloud over UNC basketball has been lifted. And Roy has said many times that he recruits the same players UK and Duke recruits. But that cloud has hurt him in recruiting. That's his words.
Now, Roy doesn't have to worry about that anymore. And I figure next year he will land some OAD's. And I can't wait. Because just to see this board for the last few years swear off OAD players will turn right around and praise the same kids they have swore if they ever committed to UNC then they would stop watching UNC basketball.

Word is JBII has successfully convinced his girlfriend to nickname his c**k Assists. When asked why, JBII matter-of-factly replied that he's used to having his assists blown.
I do think they overreacted to that post - but I was glad to see it. In the majority of his other posts he's much worse and doesn't get called out for it.
