I give them credit... they're a good team. But, I've disliked them ever since I was a little kid... growing up in eastern NC. Back then it was Danny Ford, Homer Jordan, Steve Fuller. Ugh!

The only thing that blows more than Florence is our football program.

I just hope that the one extra ass-whooping we didn't receive today doesn't save Fed's job at year end (IF he somehow guides the Heels to just enough wins... ).
I don't see how we can keep him if we care at all about the football program. He's lost the fans, the players, and any chance at recruiting real talent for the next few years.
While I 100% agree with that, we all know how this usually goes at UNC when it comes to football.
They are turrible. Either Jimbo is a genius, or he has a phenomenal sense of timing and bailed at the perfect time.
For a team that was suppose to be good this year, the Tomahawkers are the biggest disappointment so far . .

Not Carolina but ACC: Clemson senior Kelly Bryant transferring out after Trevor Lawrence was named the starter for this week's game vs. Syracuse.
Lawrence has been impressive but this leaves the Tigers with basically no depth behind him after starting the season with like six QBs.
Dabo had to have known this was possible and must be VERY confident in his freshman to risk losing a talented senior QB by making this move.

Does this season not count for him? Is it based on number of games played?
Under the new rules he keeps the one year of eligibility since he hasn't played in more than four games yet, as I understand it.

You're being too kind, at least the score was competitive and somewhat respectful for the first quarter of the game.

Everyone wants fedoras head and I was with them early on. But these last two losses are not on fedora imo. we are a fumble on the 1 yard line and a missed 4 yard pass to a wide open receiver (not to mention two missed fg’s)from being three and one in the acc. I’m seeing signs of this being a decent team. I believe we will beat state and dook.
It does suck, at how close we are to being 3-1 and at the top of the Coastal.
The defense is playing reasonably well, just seeming to run out of stopping power late.
And like you said, just a play or two on offense and this season wouldn't be looking too bad.... very frustrating.
if he beats state and dook, and maybe uva, would you endorse him getting another year?

UNC will not beat State or dook. I doubt they win either one. UNC finds ways to lose games. And, UVA is going to stomp them next week.
I've never seen a UNC team be so successful at trying to lose game after game. There is some hope with the performance of the some of the kids. But, this staff has no idea wtf they're doing. Even if those small varriables people mention that would have made the team's record 3-1, or 4-0, would be fool's gold just like 2015. When it really matters, and when any kind of bowl or title is at stake, they will piss-the-bed. That's why they were not executed and the team has 1 win on the season

We have decent talent. We’re just poorly coached in every aspect of the game. Give Cutcliffe our talent and we would be undefeated(we wouldn’t have beaten UCF either way). Of course, Cut would have been playing Fortin or Ruder all along.
Can I interest you in a "lead for most of the game and lose in double OT"?
I recorded the two shows that came on after the game just because I had the thought, “what if something crazy happens and it goes to double or triple overtime?”

Yea if we win 2/3 i would endorse keeping him. There has been more prob with execution than play calling last two games imo. Course u could make the case thats feds fault as well i guess
Putting in Elliott for those two plays in the first half against VT cost us at least one touchdown. Elliott should have been taken out of the last game when it was clear he was ineffective. We were in the same situation as them and their coach made the move to win the game.
