Thing about the global communist movement of today is despite liberals claiming it's just a conspiracy theory and wacko, the people in charge of the movement are quite open about it.

Here is Biden in his executive order mandating ramping up technologies to create GMO humans, presumably forced to be so via mandates, hooked up to AI supposedly for our benefit.

I’ve lost money on paper but if anybody was forced to sell during a downturn like this that is their fault and shows poor planning and poor investing.

The cause of the problem is not appreciating that we have a fvcking country of our own, and that our country is not responsible for the shitty living conditions of the rest of the world. If we control foreigners coming into our country on work visas, I have no problem with that and I don't think anyone else does. What is the use in discussing a problem if we cannot talk about the origins of why it's happening? How are you going to come down harshly on people who come to this place looking to escape poverty? It's not the only element but it is a strong one.

I would like to see a better system too. It can't continue as it is now. But there also needs to be a genuine interest in solving the problem aka looking at its roots, see what can be done, and what should be implemented. Is anyone doing that in good faith, right now? No. Because this, like abortion and other topics, fuel the cycle of each one of these parties getting their people into office who then proceed to do nothing, they get replaced by the other party...rinse, recycle, repeat.

We can't be treating this topic or illegal migrants themselves with revulsion and the usual fear mongering labels- welfare parasites, criminals, drug dealers, etc. That also does nothing and much of that is rooted in the fear of the changing racial demographic.

Untrue. I believe in pluralism. I don't think liberal or conservative is inherently bad or good or better than the other. I do believe the current GOP as its constructed- which is a separate entity from the philosophy of conservatism- is heading down the path of election denialism, Christian nationalism, and a cult of personality devoted to Trump.

But it's a CNN segment hosted on YouTube looks like. He says he doesn't watch the "news" and only gets his video from YouTube. What he doesn't say is that there is plenty of "news" from all the usual msm sources posted on and available on YT. In fact, the algorithms would promote it and limit any counterpoints. It's a shell game argument. It's why it always struck me as disingenuous. "I don't watch CNN" is the proclamation, but what that really means is "I don't watch CNN directly on CNN the channel".

Also, inalienable rights, due process, freedom of speech and religion, equality under the law, etc,.... are all based on and arguably are "religious mythologies" as you use the term. I would argue they are not mythologies but true. Either way, you have nothing outside of religion for believing they are true things.

Wokism doesn't believe in them. Progressives today certainly don't. They stem from religion and specifically Christianity. No other modern political school of thought and movement on it's own accepts these basic things the nation was founded on.

I didn't watch quite the whole thing. Did I miss the part where the threat to democracy is real and ominous? I actually kind of got the impression that this is an example of democracy being what democracy is supposed to be, a system where people can freely express their beliefs and exert their influence,, whether individually or as a group, and regardless of how objectionable those views might be to others. Everyone gets their say, do they not?

The problem, such as there is one, is not in a number (a relatively small number) of people wanting Christian principles imbedded in our laws (thank God that's already the case) and shaping our future, but that our Constitution might not be upheld as it was intended to be upheld, in this case in maintaining a firm separation between church and state. As long as that happens, all the noise is just whining.
