All that china-$ in the pocket of Hunter, all that appeasement and we're still the closest we've been in decades to supporting Taiwan independence.
sorry you're having such a hard time grasping the exceedingly simple concept of two seemingly contradictory situations existing at the same time; although the reality is that Biden steadfastly maintains that he does not support Taiwanese independence.

And dear victim, please don't blame "libs", instead blame Pence, Mccarthy, McConnell, GOP Senators, Governors etc.

-Pence was most clear in his condemnation, saying in an interview with NewsNation, “President Trump was wrong to give a white nationalist, an antisemite and a Holocaust denier a seat at the table. I think he should apologize for it, and he should denounce those individuals and their hateful rhetoric without qualification.”

-“Well, I hope, someday, we won’t have to be responding to what former President Trump has said or done,” Hutchinson said in an interview Sunday on CNN. “In this instance, it’s important to respond. … I don’t think it’s a good idea for a leader that is setting an example for the country or the party to meet with an avowed racist or antisemite.”

-“President Trump hosting racist antisemites for dinner encourages other racist antisemites,” Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) tweeted. “These attitudes are immoral and should not be entertained. This is not the Republican Party."

-"Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.) told reporters Monday that the dinner was “just a bad idea on every level.”

-"There is no room in the Republican Party for antisemitism or white supremacy," McConnell said Tuesday at the start of a press conference. "And anyone meeting with people advocating that point of view, in my judgment, are highly unlikely to ever be elected president of the United States."

-"I think it's disgusting to invite people like that to meet with a former president of the United States," said Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah, one of Trump's biggest foes in the Republican party. "It's been clear that there's no bottom to the degree to which President Trump will degrade himself and the nation."
lol, there's a nice fifth-grade tactic for you. Just call someone a victim or whatever when you have no argument. That really sells well, coming from a representative of the party of victimhood.

Meanwhile, you give specific examples of politicking to foil my example of the innate character of a liberal. Another swing and a miss.

It makes you a liability for anything related to government, quite a few civic things too, when you are inviting a loon (Ye) who has already said anti-semitic and other racist things and who is troubled enough to hang with white supremacists like Fuentes.
Even more of a liability when you give Ye the impression that you are really impressed with Nick Fuentes. Advisers asked Trump to denounce Fuentes and he hasn't, cuz he doesn't want to upset a certain segment of his "base".
and again, true to what I was pointing out, you simply ignore that Trump said he was only advising Ye to not run for president. And true to what I didn't point out this time, you make assumptions for the purpose of character assassination. Trump said he didn't know who Fuentes was, and you're taking the word of a guy you just described as a 'loon' that Trump was impressed with Fuentes. You're being the quintessential liberal.

If meeting with someone is a liability, it's a liability because of the lies and distortions assigned to anything the libs oppose. I guess you have no problem with that.

Is this regarding Fuentes? He's a holocaust-denying, incel-misogynist, pro-Putin, UniteTheRight marching racist who believes women shouldn't vote.
again, are you referring to the man that Trump says he didn't know of and didn't know was being brought to the dinner? If so, what's your point in listing things that Trump wasn't aware of? Hell, why stop there, I'm sure you could write a book about people and things that Trump isn't aware of.

Oh boy! I guess we'll always remember what time it was and where we were and who was president when the 'Respect for Marriage Act' was passed. Wait a minute, what? What was that Act again? Something about marriage, or respect, or some damn thing or another. I forgot already. Anyway, something got passed when Biden was president. Wowzer, how bow da.....I guess.

More importantly, Rhodes and Another were found guilty of sedition conspiracy (while others were not). Antifa/BLM 57 --- Oathkeepers 0, for those keeping score. Personally, I think the refs are on the dem's payroll.

Let’s get it on!

I guess Fox will dole-out whatever they think their disciples will lap-up. They can't secede anymore. The losers lost that when they lost the civil war- sore losers, though they were and still are, apparently. So much for that American exceptionalism bullshit.

The wonky part about succession is urban vs rural nature of voters. Cities within red states are super blue. Durham county votes almost as blue as Brooklyn.

Secession is dumb, but I do think the idea to divide California into multiple states makes sense in a lot of ways.
I saw some stuff where certain parts of states were trying to connect to other states that weren’t batshit crazy leftist woke shitholes. Like the eastern 3/4 of Oregon wanting to become part of Idaho. And 9/10 of Minnesota wanting to become part of the Dakotas.

I know secession can’t and won’t happen. But rational conservatarian people in blue states have had it with the unending toxic BS in blue woke shithole cities in these states

Shit just got real for the Biden crime family and fellow crooks in the DNC and the past leadership at Twitter (though not Jack Dorsey himself)

Though it is nothing that wasn’t highly predicted or suspected, Elon Musk is dropping many days of carpet bombing on past Twitter top people, Hunter and Joe, and the DNC directing blatantly illegal censorship.

Not sure anything will come out or this because leaders of the Rs have no spine and no balls.

But if people aren’t held accountable given these thousands of pages of evidence of criminality - then the country is truly dead.

God bless Elon Musk, James Woods, and (liberal on Twitter breaking the story Matt Taibbi)

Not only is this poast poorly written from a grammatical standpoint, it reads as if you’re taking the idea of secession personally. It’s not another girlfriend leaving you. Relax.

No more personal than your intention when you offered it and prefaced it with "let's get it on." You rubes are so convinced that you're being victimized on a constant basis that you forget just how good you have it in this country. The idea of secession shows how delusional you are and how effectively propaganda works on the weak-minded.

And blue folks aren’t fed up living in backwoods, good old boy, shitass red states like Alabama and Tennessee?

Goes both ways, bro.

Well nothing will come out of it because it’s not illegal for a social media site to censor. Facebook censors as does Twitter STILL under musk and trumps site as well.

It’s not that Twitter censored. That’s not the big revelation. It’s that a political party/Presidential candidate conspired with top execs to censor. Is that not disturbing to you?

This is what people are talking about when they use the word “cheat” in regards to the 2020 election.

True I suppose. But the net exodus from blue sates and big cities to rural, exurban red area is vastly larger than red/ rural / exurban movement into civilized woke blue areas. Not even close. Is why NY CA NJ etc lose house seats to FL TX NC SC etc - bro

Exactly 100. Obviously censoring is legal - twitter, fb etc should ON THEIR OWN censor true terror threats, child porn, threats to violence against anyone.

None of that info was in the Hunter laptop story - or in the DJT remain peaceful Jan 6 tweets - or in the questioning of vax and masks and shutdowns for Covid. None of that should have been censored and those people surely shouldn’t have been banned, removed, locked out

But when the Joe Biden campaign (and later his administration) and the DNC - can straight up collude and say in documented e-mails “yeah this account and story and poster are problematic to our campaign. Lock them all down. Make them all disappear. No reason, no recourse, no way to get justice and defend 1st amendment rights.”

The fact that the DNC drove this, demanded it, and the the Biden admin - and that many in Twitter (and big papers etc) were willing to fulfill these demands - is corrupt and illegal as hell. Way worse than Watergate.

It’s the fact that Dem arms of government were driving and demanding this corrupting of the election to their benefit is so outrageously criminal

There's a simple reason for this. Land and housing in those areas are still relatively cheaper. It's not because blue cities and states are 'shitholes' and said areas have been completely ruined. Yes, they have problems just as red states do. It's not a suffering contest.

I just find it incredibly funny sometimes that some people, especially in the South, whine and complain about northeners and Yankees moving to their states, turn around and brag about it in the same breadth as a means to one up the blue states they came from, then also worry that these same newcomers are going to 'ruin' their states too.

If it wasn't for people moving north to the south and west, those places would be just as economically irrelevant and culturally stationary as they were prior to this shift beginning in the 80s and 90s.

Funny? I find it awesome. It’s the perfect situation because as you say, I can complain about northerners who are by and large less likable, moving down here because obviously, at least for those coming in droves, it’s a more desirable place to be. And then yes, the morons that come still have the liberal ick stuck on them so they move down here and vote for policies that turned their former homes into crime riddled, overpriced, unsanitary shitholes. And getting to point that out to you idiot liberals, especially those that moved down here, is satisfying.

So basically everything you wrote is a self own. Thanks.

It's not out of regard for your sacred southern circle jerk. It's purely an economic move.

But you can't pick and choose, bubba. You either accept your state actually moving into the 20th and 21st Centuries by dropping the bullshit 'Conservative' policies that have little relevance or morality, by also accepting these newcomers. Or you complain and whine and adopt policies that drive them out, thereby losing power, House seats, and prestige.

Far from a self own, you're just being your usual contrarian, prick self. Don't even lie, you despise that Virginia is a blue state now. Moderate Americans still lean economically right a lot of the time, so they'll go to Charlotte or Atlanta to reap the benefits of that, but they aren't going to accept your utter stupidity surrounding race, religion, abortion, or LGBT issues.

Cool now do FL which was a purple state but now is bright red - and is red even in past blue cities of Miami and Tampa.

Why? Listen to desantis speech after he just won governor and demolished the Dems. Where he won by half a point in 2018 he won by 20 points in 2022.

Two great things DeSantis said and did:
1) he thanked all the Dems and indies who voted for him, who didn’t vote for him in 18. He heavily carried / outperformed with every demographic more than any otherR or D in the state in memory

2 his money quote: “Florida is where some goes to die!” Boom.

He’s got the balls and spine to stand up to the GLBT, Covid crazies, all race, all enviro/ green, gender, anti- parent, drag show cop hating etc hucksters that rule over or have undue influence over pols in blue states

While pols in states like NY are saying and carrying out policies that say “f the police. F the parents. F the kids. F the business owners.”

Desantis does stuff to support all these groups - such as putting kids back in school, giving parents consent over what kids are taught, keeping schools and businesses open, not requiring vaccine and masking; AND giving cops and first responders bonuses several times per year.

All these policies are red / anti- woke and are in direct contrast with the blue, woke, “individual, white, parent, child, cop” hating left.

Is why if in a fair free one on one election rds runs against a Dem head to head - he will win going away. Common average people want to be governed way more like FL / desantis and way less like NY / Hochul etc.

You’re buying into talking points perpetuated by the far right. Which is often sensationalist, fear mongering, and viciously attacks people who are easy to demonize. People like myself.

I’m not a threat because I’m transgender. Drag queens aren’t a public menace. It’s up to the schools to teach children proper education without interference from meddling parents. Cops who abuse their positions need to be held accountable. And environmental issues are paramount to our planet remaining healthy for human habitation. Vaccines are vital to public health.

You’re making broad sweeping assumptions without delving deeper into these narratives. Including that supposed truth bomb posted by Elon Musk and Matt Taibbi.

really? He made one small reference within one sentence to the LGBT people, and then only regarding those who might be overly demanding. You replied with paragraphs about YOU and your LGBTness. Is there any chance you might eventually wake up and sense the problem that you're exemplifying?

Beyond that, of course bad cops need to be weeded out. But you don't throw out the baby with the bathwater. You don't defund the police because there are an exceedingly small number of bad cops or because cops have to deal harshly with those behaving criminally. Vaccines are valuable in general, but there's room for acknowledging that we went way overboard in the name of public health concerning Covid. These aren't far right talking points, they are points that right-thinking, realistic people recognize and agree with.

Nailed the environment thing though.

before there were message boards there were newsgroups, which also allowed people to exchange commentary in real time. That was quite a few years ago. I frequented one based on the Raleigh/Triangle area, and often found myself going toe-to-toe with a yankee who had relocated here, and my arguments to him could have been written by you. They often come here admittedly to escape the shithole they had created for themselves up north, only to immediately start complaining that we need to do things like they did back there.

LOL, come here because it's different, and then whine because it is different.

But if you want to, you can choose to believe that said yankees move here to take advantage of lower housing costs. Of course, you can't also choose to consider why they would need to do that to begin with, or you'll be in danger of contradicting yourself.
