OOTB's Political Thread . ..

Thanks to all the American government officials who worked behind the scenes for months
to actualize the release of unfairly detained American citizen, Britney Griner.
Please continue these efforts towards the release of Paul Whelan and any other
wrongly detained American citizens in other countries throughout the world,
including ours.

Not sure if serious.

Brittany Griner broke Russian laws. She was in no way unfairly detained.

The fact that we would even consider Griner before getting Whelan home shows exactly how awful this current administration is.

And great job releasing the "Merchant of Death" in exchange.

let me make sure I understand. The northerns, etc., in question are moving to shithole States to avoid the high cost of NOT living in a shithole State? Doesn't that mean that they can't afford to not live in said shithole States? And doesn't that beg the question of why they can't afford to stay where they are in order to avoid moving to a shithole State?

Doesn't that mean you are in agreement with @Archer2
I didn't say they are moving to shithole states. Washington and Co for example have grown as much as Florida over the past decade population-wise.

When it comes to cost-o-living there are extremes - NY, Hawaii on one end, Miss and Bama on the other.
If people are really trying to flip their budget via cost-o-living, they'll need to go to a shithole state, but those places aren't growing.

Cost of groceries, transportation, utilities and health are the only interesting variables since housing is largely dependent on things other than the state (like whether you are in a thriving metropolis or amazing place to visit, etc). But groceries, transpo, utilities are only X % of someone's total expenditures and the % of difference from one state to another isn't going to be that impactful unless you're going from HI/NY to a Bama/Miss (which people aren't doing).

Archer is finger-pointing politics as reasons for moving and aside for taxes, he's wrong. People are mostly moving because of housing (not caused by policy/politics), jobs, not wanting density, and taxes (esp retired).

Crime and bad schools aren't on the list BUT FURTHERMORE crime and bad schools aren't correlated at all to blue states.

What do you expect? It's Archer.

He reduces politics down to a Kindergarten level of logic whenever he sticks his big nose in here.

I'm grateful simply because right now poopslinger and transplant are pulling their gray hair out which is almost as hilarious as when Trump and the Republicans get their asses beat in elections.

Suck on it, losers. Go Griner! Be free!!

What a piece of shit you are. You'd rather free a legally detained, America slandering dyke who did indeed break the law versus a member of our armed services who was jailed gathering intel for our government. All because why? So you can act woke? Not to mention, we traded a bona fide killer back to Russia.

That Biden, he really knows how to strike a deal.

What's to explain? I just wanted to show the board that like usual, you're talking out of your ass and don't know shit about that which you're speaking.

It would behoove you to just STFU. That way you can't be wrong.

No, I already said why. Simply because right now poopslinger and transplant are pulling their gray hair out. Today you are that much closer to completely blowing your stack and I find that wildly amusing, hilarious, satisfying . . . you get the idea. 🤣

Oh. So you're excited that we traded the Merchant of Death back to Russia for Griner and left a Marine there because it upset two internet poasters?

You seem like a totally normal, well adjusted person.

It wasn’t a matter of picking which one you wanted to trade. The US was given just one choice.

I wouldn't say I'm excited about the prisoner swap. I think it's f*cked up, to be honest. But I still find it comical the way you are trying to take the moral higher ground on this considering all the people you have wished death or misfortune upon in the past.

Funny, funny, funny.

GFY.

If one wanted to go back and find it, you would see that I predicted that Biden would make such a disgusting shithead deal as this. When being a POS is predictable, you know you're dealing with the real thing. There is no justification for trading a murderous wholesale arms dealer responsible for thousands of deaths for that America-hater, just to stay on the good side of all the other America-haters.

It takes one to know one. Not only are you a piece of shit but you're also a pussy who needs a man who has been dead for almost 60 years to do a job you haven't got the balls to attempt yourself. Go ahead, bluetard, what do you have to live for anyway?

If by stronger, you mean bent over, then I agree.

No objective political observer would say this. Why does everyone think Russia is so mighty? They have a one dimensional economy, an overrated army, a horrendously corrupt government, and one of the worst birth rates in the world. They're getting spanked by a country they were expected to steamroll in a matter of weeks.
