I don't think anyone is surprised that he would say that. I'll be glad when Muller finishes his report so this crap can be over. I know democrats will continue to investigate it if nothing is found, but at least the general public won't care and we can move on.

I wouldn't count on that. Massachusetts will find a way to keep her. The mayor of Boston wants sanctuary for any illegals (well, he probably doesn't actually want it, but says he does for votes).

in what other time have we ever heard people disparage the office of the potus as much as we hear now?...people talked about clinton lying and calling him a womanizer, but to call someone a racist, a conman, and a cheat, those are some elite level accusations...and i can’t help but believe that the reason why this is so common now is because of the asshat in office.
and the questions about the book deal and movie deal are ridiculous...he’d be a fool not to listen to a deal, everyone does.
But doing it every freaking second of the day lessens the impact and the number of people who care about the story. If I recall correctly, Clinton's numbers ended up rising because republicans kept on hounding him non stop about what happened. If that continues to happen with Trump, I could foresee him getting a slight bump and winning in 2020. At some point it just becomes too much.

Hard to say for sure right now since we don't know who the democrats are going to nominate. It also depends on what Muller says. If it turns out to be nothing directly tying him to Russia then it won't hurt him, but if there is a direct link then he will need the democrats to nominate someone like Warren.

Right now? I can't think of anyone, but that's basically what happened with republicans this last election. They didn't have anyone who stood out, so Trump was able to get the nomination. Maybe Bloomberg because of name recognition if he runs on the democrat ticket or possibly @ticket2ride04's most wanted lover, Newsom.

No, I don't really care what Cohn had to say. Roy Cohn has been dead for a long time now. And, Roy Cohn was a pretty shitty person from cradle to grave, unless you were one of close pals. And, some of his close pals got the AIDS because he kept banging guys even after he knew he was infected and didn't care. Which kinda reinforces what I said about being a shitty person.
