OOTB's Political Thread . ..

He may try it even though he knows it would never hold up. Frankly, I like the play. That's more harsh rhetoric on immigration what is what I want to see. I want more people convinced that letting in droves of people is not good for the country. As I've said repeatedly, let's not just stop illegal immigration, let's stop all immigration. 10 years. Then we'll talk.

I’ve given him the benefit of the doubt. I chuckled at how hes played the media and the dems. I support some of his policies about foriegn policy, economy and trade and even immigration. I look the other way when he tweets and says stupid shit. But if he tries this, successful or not, i’m all in on impeachment.

If he does this there will be injunctions filed before the ink is dried. No chance he gets away with it. I would be all for it if legislation were passed and it held muster by the SC.

By what measure has our standing around the world fallen? What is your proof? And where is your proof that Trump hates people of color. Show me something or stop parroting idiot liberal talking points.
You are too stupid to explain anything to, I will not stop talking just because some Trump jock licker told me to.

I know we did this years ago. Let's revisit and see where you stand. Answer honestly

Worlds smallest political quiz

I'm not surprised by my results. I got Libertarian, one notch over to the right from center. I actually answered "agree" on every question except "There should be no national ID card" I answered "disagree"

It'd be great if we could debate issues like the quesions posed in that, and other, political quizzes. It's a lot more effective than the back and forth "Trump sucks!" "No, Trump rules!" to actually discuss issues.

I don't have to prove shit because I'm not making stupid claims. Secondly, I don't give a shit what people in Algeria, Sri Lanka or the Netherlands think of him or us.

You're a real piece of something too.
You watched the idiot give the speech at the UN and saw leaders from all over the world laughing at him to his face and you don't call that proof? .....lol

Wow... Steve Schmidt. That dude LOVES Ronald Reagan. He must really be upset since Trump is just another celebrity-turned-politician and is also a Republican. Or, he so he says. I am actually surprised at how many Republicans have decided to carry the Trump standard.

If you read the comments, and watch the entire speech, the actual proof of being less-respected doesn't quite ring true. They laugh at his obvious first gaffe of his exaggerated opinion, but, then he gives some details and no one reacts. The comments under the video are from people from in the USA and around the world... average people. Almost all of them approve of what he said and what he's doing.

You can see him clearly reading from the teleprompter, but, they all do that.

So is it fair to say that disliking/denouncing Trump is more important to you than the issues they'll be pushing for if in office?
The kind of person who would not denounce Trump is not the kind of person I want in office, any office. I would feel the same way if they refused to denounce racism or nationalism

Sad! At the Wohl / Burkman press conference (Mueller accusation), Burkman's pants are unzipped...

ROFL at these 2 assclowns holding a press conference in which their star witness that they promised would be in attendance refused to show up.

F'ing hilarious fail.

I agree with this. If they won't denounce Trump, they don't get my vote.

The prosecution rests, your honor.

I stand by what I said. Would you not hesitate to vote for someone who refused to denounce Hitler or Stalin? The very fact they would refuse tells me all I need to know about that person.

The fact that you're equating Trump to Hitler and Stalin is beyond ridiculous, severely undermines the atrocities those two committed, and shows that you've lost all objectivity when it comes to discussing Trump.

That aside, just denouncing Trump doesn't mean the issues you care about will be in their agenda. I'd rather have someone who says "Trump's a bit of a blowhard, but he's the President so that's where we're at" that then pushes to keep abortion legal, is in favor of drug legalization, furthers progress with gay marriage, etc. You'd rather have someone that says "Ya, F Trump - he's a moron!" even if they then had an agenda that was against all of the things mentioned above. It just doesn't make any sense.

I was using Hitler and Stalin in my example, not comparing then to Trump. Trump is not nearly as smart as either of those two men and to be fair he's not quite as evil but evil none the less.

"Not quite as evil?" Hitler murdered six million people and Stalin murdered fourteen million more. GW and Obama combined couldn't even come close to Hitler, let alone Stalin. I would say that Trump isn't anywhere close to those guys.

For the test, I almost completely at the top (libertarian) and a couple of squares to the left.

Edit: The only problem I have with these tests is that they aren't set in the real world. I would be okay with open immigration if there was no social safety net and we weren't entrenched militarily around the world. However, since those things are happening I'm not in favor of open immigration.

Speaking of showing his ass . . and it's a fat, lazy one. More crazy shit from the Liar-in-Chief, Captain bone spurs . .

From the article linked:

Newsweek reports that leaked US military assessment documents conclude about Trump's border invasion crisis: no terrorists, no infiltrators, and only a small percentage of the immigrants will reach the border. The reporter who broke the story said that the largest number of senior officers believe that sending the 15,000 soldiers to the border is politically motivated, and that it is a waste of time and money especially given that the number exceeds the size of our entire force in Afghanistan.

What does the frequency of me seeing $100 have to do with you showing your ass?
It seems to have made a big impression on you. Hopefully the country can start the process of getting back where we should be next Tuesday.
