LOL. Seriously though, there have to be some party officials worried about his health. I just don't see him being able to get through a debate with Trump. It's starting to look like Trump's real opponent is going to be the coronavirus.

I am seriously starting to think that there is some big time coups planned at the highest levels of the D party - to get all Biden’s opponents except Bernie to drop out AND endorse Biden.....
....then we see Hillary so prominent over the last few days, spruced up, praising Biden and shredding Bernie....
is the fix in that Biden is told to put Hillary on the ticket as VP, them if Biden wins - in very short order Biden is forced to step down due to perceived dementia - and there we are - madam president.
Or is this crazy conspiracy talk? I don’t know how people can trust the Clintons very far - even members in their own party. Look how she has savaged Bernie, Tulsi, etc. do whatever to get ahead. (Even if you think Hillary had nothing to do with Epstein).
Most dems wish she would just go away, so I don't think that's what is happening.
And, the economic troubles brewing. I dunno how bad it will get, or how fast, but it's coming.

Sure it could. The difference here would be that we will be able to come up with solutions to address, whereas Italy seems to have adopted the death panel approach.
My guess is that a lot of the treatment is going to take place in retirement/nursing homes, because that's where the worst of it will be. In fact, we are talking about bringing my MIL to our house for a while if this starts to get bad.
I'm not sure what makes you think the U.S. is better equipped to deal with it than Italy, but I hope you're right. Italy has quarantined 16 million people in the north.

Yep. It's pretty well known that Biden is average, at best, in these things. The fact that he can't even remember who he is won't help him out. People are/were making fun of Trump's mental health, but it's obvious something is going on with Biden.
The thing about debates though is that they aren't about the issues. It's all about sound bites and memorable moments. Does anyone remember what Clinton said about Medicare in the debates? Nope. They do remember Trump hovering over her and his "wrong" sound bite that instantly became a gif. Those are the things he does well and that's what debates at that level are about.
I cringe when I see this. If he lost, he wouldn't be President.
It's a cute talking point I guess - but every time I see it, I think of someone trying to argue that we beat Nova in the championship that year, because we had 13 more rebounds. Unfortunately, the goal of the game is to get more points, just like the goal of the election is to get more electoral votes. Clinging to the popular vote count is sad and reeks of "but the rayuffs".
I wasn't talking about the election process, I was commenting that if he's the best ever at campaigning then how the hell did 3 million more people vote for one of the least likable people ever.
I never watch the debates.
If things stay on their present course, Sanders might very well win. Between the virus, now this this oil war, the stock market crash, and whatever economic downturn we start to experience from all of these factors, between now and November, I don't see Trump winning this at all.

Not sure. He like kinda snuck off the stage after making very prepared remarks.
I wish he’d even attempt to tone it down. His rhetoric really doesn’t help situations such as these.
