The point is his "base" just became his base and they really don't have any real reason to be his base. The guy spent his entire life trying to provide for rich people, not 99% of the people who voted for him.

Look I'm not afraid of trans people I don't care what they do I don't even care what restroom they use. A true trans person somewhat looks like a man or woman and no one would even notice them in what ever restroom they choose to use!
But when you start making these laws that you have to let anyone use any restroom they want because they FEEL like a woman or man on that day you open the door for perverts to use this to be perverts or pedophiles.
I'm not against it just because it hate those people I have my reasons. To each his or her own, its none of my business but when a full blooded grown MAN comes out of a restroom or goes into a restroom that my 14 year old daughter or wife is in it becomes my business.
Not everyone hates people because they disagree! If the chance of something bad could happen doesn't bother you should really reconsider your stance. That's if your married and have kids and if you don't someday you may understand it a little better!

attitudes and many responses are ABOUT feelings dodo. But my posts have substance of some sort which addresses the subject at hand, and my decisions are made by setting feelings aside as much as is possible. this right here is the typical liberal thought process. Because someone is doing nothing against the wealthy, he must be against the unwealthy. Since he is doing nothing against the wealthy, he is doing something for the wealthy. Because he is not taking away from the wealthy, he is robbing the less monied.

In my life I've voted for: W. Bush 04, McCain 08, Obama 12, left it blank in 16.
I really liked McCain. Didn't hate Obama just if there is a Republican I like he'll get the nod because I'm fiscally conservative and that's what is most important to me. I didn't like Romney and I thought Obama did well from 08-12 so went blue in 2012.
So I like(d) Biden as VP and I think he's super qualified and relatively moderate which is also very important to me....however, I do think his mental capacity is fading and until he shows me otherwise I don't know if I can vote for him. I'd have to really like his VP candidate and so far I don't really love the options being thrown around for it.
Obama lost me for 12 because of Obama care and you can keep your doctor stuff. I'm not at all on board with universal health care.
I'm not either - but I liked that I could keep my private insurance from my company so Obamacare didn't impact me at all.
If the democrats want to get the office back they have to come up with someone to run and a platform to win some votes.
I kind of feel bad for Joe because I think they know he can't beat Trump and they know they don't have anyone ready to run against him. I really feel like they are leading Joe to the slaughter as their sacrificial lamb, and he is expendable to them because he is mentally failing anyway!
People like Trump in a lot of cases because he isn't a politician he is a business man and no one can argue his knack for being successful. He is lippy and petty at times but I think that goes back to him not being a politician.

Yeah for a party that supposedly represents the interests of young people, minorities, and women seeing Joe Biden vs. Bernie Sanders isn't exactly ideal for them.
Part of me thinks they're holding back someone and waiting til 2024 knowing Trump will likely take 2020.
Trump is a result of Hillary running. I honestly think people were scared of what she would do. We had faced a horrible recession and people wanted a more sure thing. Trump has made some good and bad decisions. But noone knows what direction she would have went. As @gunslingerdick said when he took office, the best thing to happen was we would be in stalemate mode the whole time he was in.
The dems stayed focused on impeachment and dirt digging that they didn't build a viable candidate. This next election is on them
