Looks like you are trying to point out some bias and hypocrisy, but I can't get beyond the first set of images from your facebook post about Slate. What is wrong with a news magazine like Slate offering articles with varying opinion?
The article on the left was written by a Judge appointed by Ronald Reagan. The one on the right is written by a guy who covers courts and law, and also writes for RealClearPolitics which is centrist to right-leaning. These are two totally different people with different perspectives bringing entirely different opinion / content (call it spin if you want).
Is it wrong for Slate to offer a diverse set of opinions and content rather than stick to a solitary myopic world view?
I don't see any problem with a site like Slate having the above two articles, even if they were published on the same day on opposite pages. Heck, i wouldn't care even if it had been written by the same guy since it's possible that you could agree with both articles = that there are good reasons for having the electoral college AND it's historical roots were about majority vote (white men rather than women or non-white mean).
Well, if and when you do get beyond the first set of images, you'll see that plenty of the examples cited are indeed of the same exact authors.
To be fair, the author doesn't come up with the headline for a lot of stories. Not saying there isn't bias, just that it would be better to judge the content of the article instead of the headline.
