No need for back-patting. I'm entirely comfortable with my life situation. I could go into it deeper, but I don't want to make other people feel insecure.
I just wanted to add that my three biggest detractors on this site are:
- An unhinged, leftist authoritarian who was banned.
- A Paul Krugman wannabee who thinks that he has the knowledge to control the economy.
- A crybaby who is distraught that government subsidies might be cut off to his company.
I dunno, I heard that those that oppose globalism are the real anti-semites. Lol.
Yup. Not hard to figure out why he was banned on multiple boards. He thinks it’s a badge of honor, though, because self-reflection is hard and stuff.

I don't consider myself great. I just don't accept ad hominem arguments or arguments from authority, which is why we seem to clash so much. Remember who started insulting who first. It wasn't me who started the mud slinging.

Strumm, how often have we had real problems on a message board? Very rarely if ever. We may disagree with each other, but we do so cordially. With some of these guys, as soon as you challenge their argument you get straight up insulted. Of course, when you fire back at them they really get butthurt and want to ignore you, which is fine with me. Why would I want to converse with anyone who can't hold a civil discussion?
It's actually funny to watch the narcissism of some, like ignoring me is going to cause some great harm to me. And I'm the one they think is self-important! Lulz!
I don't put anyone on ignore. But, that's just me.
I think the only person I ever put on ignore was Ciggy for a couple of days, because he dropped like 15-20 threads in about a 48 hour period, and I didn't want to sift through all of them. Ciggy is a pretty good guy though, even for a crazy leftist.
I don't know if he changed, like a lot of his brethren, after 2016. I've never seen so many rational people just completely lose their s***. It made all the crazy "Obama is a Mooslim" people look low key.

I still don't think it ever gets done. I never have. I think its just something to rally his base. Of course, if he doesn't build it, what will his constituents do? I'm guessing nothing because most people have taken up residence on one side or the other, and it doesn't matter what their side does anymore. It's like religious zealotry.
