OOTB's Political Thread . ..

If one tenth of the info on Hunter’s laptop is true, he should be in prison along with his business partners and Pedo Pete. This is the tip of the iceberg. If the FBI ever does their job and releases .this info(we all know it would have been “leaked” a long time ago if it were Eric Trump’s laptop), it will blow the lid off Pedo Pete’s family. It’s long overdue.
Wait a minute, are you telling me you don’t even know if the info is true or not? If Hunter, his dad or anybody else broke the law, jail their ass.

Only a complete moron wouldn't have recognized that this was nothing but the dems taking our time and money to run a smear campaign against Donald Trump.

Now I don't really care any more what you say about DJT than he does, but for half of our political representation to take our dime and our time to assassinate the very popular opposition in such an obscenely heavy-handed and ongoing way, with the help of leftist MSM, is a sure sign that we are effectively under a de facto, at least partial, autocracy.
Exactly. The Meuller “Investigation“ was another example of Dems spending tens of thousands of dollars on a witch-hunt. All that time and money could/should have been spent trying to do some good for the country. Instead, it was a charade to cover up Hillary’s collusion with the Russians to win the election.

It bears repeating often, if you want to know what Dems are up to, just listen to what they’re accusing Pubs of doing. That’s exactly what they’re up to.

a) if you're going to gripe about Stimulus under Biden, you need to gripe about the trillions of stimulus under Trump.

b) Stimulus = jobs. It also = inflationary pressure, but people having jobs is a bigger factor improving the economy than inflation is dragging it down. We also don't know if stimulus really would've been that detrimental without the pandemic effects that have hurt the GLOBE
Pedo Pete and inflation…

inflation rate itself might've been trending down during 2020, but that doesn't mean the GLOBAL inflationary pressures plus Trump's 2020 Stimulus weren't going to eventually have an effect.

CARES Act I was a $2.2 trillion signed into law by President Trump on March 27, 2020. CARES Act II was a $900 billion extension signed into law by President Trump on December 27, 2020.

Fed response was slow, War in Ukraine, Housing Shortage, semiconductor shortages, global supply chain issues due to pandemic and just-in-time supply chain quirks. -- All that shit was coming regardless of who took over.

CARES Act...lol. they bailed out Wall Street again, even bigger that time.

I think we may have been better off, in the long term, if Donald Trump had won the election.

fairly dumbass thing to say, G. I listen to NPR occasionally, as much as I can stomach of it. That's where the dial happened to be and because the store wasn't far, I didn't bother trying to find anything else. Calling bullshit out of your ass like that is what I would expect from Heels Noir or prlyles. Be better. Be SMARTER than that.

Don't you have google?

Two weeks ago, SS people: "We're going to come straighten the record"

Two days ago, SS people: "Yeah, somehow all the texts messages from our phones were deleted from July 6th". And now there is a criminal investigation into this.

Yesterday, Rep Adam Kinzinger: "...But nobody has come in to refute her. And just as you have said, nobody has come in from the Secret Service on the record under oath, and refuted what she has said. There’s been anonymous sources. That’s it." link

Last nite, an anonymous White House security official and a sergeant in the Metropolitan Police Department who was driving in Mr. Trump’s motorcade corroborated Cassidy's claim that there was a heated (irate) dispute about Trump not being driven to the cap:

And two anonymous SS sources, per CNN, said he “demanded to go to the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, and berated his protective detail when he didn’t get his way.”
LMAO. Yes I have Google, and yeah the worst I found was that someone 'in the motorcade' but not even in the vehicle said Trump got irate. Now there's a rock-solid blockbuster, a cop saw a President seem to get mad. Woo-hoo, stop the presses and take WWIII off the headlines and replace it with Trump Gets Mad, Possibly Berates SS. OMG, this is gold. Was anyone even disputing that Trump wanted to go to the Capitol and that he might have gotten mad over the SS refusal to take him there? I bet no other President has ever berated the SS guys before. Hillary sure as hell did though.

What about the lunging and the attempted choking out? THAT was the question of the hour that you were going to illuminate us on. FAIL, for all the big talk.

So just say it...you laid a fvcking egg on this one.

There are some people who simply love Trump and hate "libs" so much that it doesn't matter what he has done or will do that are considered "wrong" or dangerous or detrimental. It's a hate for "libs" that has been indoctrinated, hard-wired into their core. He could, as he said, shoot someone, and not lose any voters. His whole participation in American politics has been a really amazing thing to watch, if you're outside of its effects. The way that people have responded- for and against him- has been really awesome. If it keeps going on this trajectory, it will eclipse things like 9/11 in the history and psychology classes 100 years from now.

she had already been refuted, tardo, by the two SS agents she said told her about the lunging episode. You said, oh boy, here come a bunch of other SS guys to refute THAT refutation and corroborate her story. So I ask again, where they at? You're going with anonymous sources? What a surprise. LMAO.

some people? You mean Trump supporters I presume. Can't help yourself with the hyperbole I guess. You don't have to love Trump in order to detest the lunacy that liberals are constantly trying to subject us to. If Trump is the chosen foil to liberal lunacy, you damn well better believe I'll, support him wholeheartedly. I will also just as well support any one else who opposes the nonsense. I haven't been indoctrinated or mesmerized, or coerced...I just, surprisingly to you it seems, have no use for crushing full term babies heads and allowing men on a whim into the women's restroom because some gender-confused person might feel intimidated, or allowing a stampede of illegals to enter our country.....or dozens of other idiocies that have been thoroughly hashed out here.

And I also have no use for a continuous campaign of character assassination that's been carried on for years now against Trump. There's no question that he has some quirks, but those quirks are magnified into ridiculous proportions for political purposes...and as much as you preach about the inherently rotten nature of politicians, now you want to convince us that we aren't merely reacting against that rottenness in supporting Trump (or whoever), but have somehow fallen blindly in love with him despite the rottenness.

Occam's razor. Don't make your theory any more complex than it needs to be. And be objective for once.

You misunderstood or I wasn't clear. The two guys refuting Cassidy were supposed to go refute under oath. And they didn't. They have slinked back into the shadows. Other people UNDER OATH are confirming there was a bunch of heated/irate crap surrounding Trump's need to partake in the attack.

Nobody cares about steering-wheel-grabbing. We care about two things a) Trump himself was urging the attack and wanted to be part of it. b) Cassidy is getting trashed without good cause since people under oath are corroborating the scene she described.

one thing that's pretty well known about you is that a point of yours is not proven just because you imagine it is.

A bill was sent up by the house stipulating no restrictions on the term of a baby where no abortion would be allowed. NOT hyperbole.

There are very many illegals being allowed into the country. NOT hyperbole.

Don't beware of the tranny, beware of the molester posing as a gender-confused person...and when the inevitable happens, watch you address it with inanity as per usual. NOT hyperbole.

I throw hissy-fits if you care to characterize them that way and you post inanity as you did here. At least I have a sound basis for my hissy-fits, while you go ask Alice when she's ten feet tall.

One thing the 1/6 hearings have shown is that not all of the GOP is made up of MAGA’s like you see in this cesspool. If the GOP would get rid of them they may stand a chance of becoming a great party again but they will have to get rid of people like you see here first.

endorsing?…again, with the assumptions.

that’s it for you?…it was about birth control…both sides cram shit in bills, but where is your beef here?…are you aware of non-fda approved contraception?

both parties win this, congratulations.

There isn't even anything crammed into that bill. It's one of the shortest ones I've ever read. And there's nothing about pharmacies providing non-FDA approved contraceptives in it. It's pretty clear that the bill is simply written to prevent pharmacies from refusing to provide contraceptives.

The restrictions in the bill that defines the terms literally says "The term contraception or contraceptive means any drug or device approved by the Food and Drug Administration to prevent pregnancy." (link)

People making claims about this bill pushing through non-FDA approved contraceptives are f*cking retards.

Trump played on their idea of patriotism and exploited it... like most every politician in history. He can't stand the idea of losing. It doesn't exist in his conscious mind. Norman Vincent Peale taught him that. That's fine... on an individual basis. But, an election includes tens of millions of OTHER people.

I'm starting to think he might not run again because he could lose in the primary this time. Pence might run, and them going head-to-head would be fun. DeSantis doesn't have his charisma, but he also doesn't have his stinky baggage. If he lost the primary, then he could, possibly, throw a fit and play spoiler and go Bull-Moose and lock it in for the Democrats.

Personally, I'd at least like someone under the age of 65.

Soooo... I go back to my guessing that a lot of pre-Vatican II Republicans were showing how archaic they could be?

So true. The GOP could really dominate the house & senate in 2022, but at this rate the Senate is a toss-up and they're barely going to take the house.

The GOP has always contained a small amount of people like that but Trump drew them in like flys to shit. Th GOP will have to figure out a way to run them out of the party. Hopefully they will start their own party and get the hell out of the GOP.

no they aren't, or that would have been up on billboards all across the country. You do realize that the Senate can call witnesses, don't you? You do realize that they don't just decide to not show up if the Senate is serious about having them testify, right? If they didn't testify, the dems didn't want them to testify.

What no one cares about is a cop not even in the same vehicle as Trump saying he SAW him be irate. THAT laughable little gem is the best they have come up with. And as I indicated, how nothing can a burger be to reveal that a President got pissed off at somebody?

And your sleazy ass wants to portray Trump as a rioter spoiling to partake in the melee. That's a new low for you, and you were already lower than whaleshit.

The ONE thing that was really in contention was what you claim no one cares about...the steering wheel lunge and physical attack on the driver.. You bit the big one on that and the rest of this asininty.

I think there are two issues. Here's one;

(9) The Food and Drug Administration has approved multiple emergency contraceptive methods as safe and effective in preventing unintended pregnancy and has approved over-the-counter access to some forms of emergency contraception for all individuals, regardless of age. If taken soon after unprotected sex or primary contraceptive failure, emergency contraception can significantly reduce a person’s chance of unintended pregnancy.

Drugs used as post-coital methods of birth control are not excluded. In other words, they are abortion drugs.

Another issue is that the Repubs see this as dem politicing, which is highly likely.

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politi...that-would-protect-right-to-use-contraception

"The bill is the latest example of Democrats latching onto their own version of culture war battles to appeal to female, progressive and minority voters by casting the court and Republicans as extremists intent on obliterating rights taken for granted for years."

this is from PBS, mind you, not Fox News.

As long as rumors swirl about Trump entertaining the idea of running in 2024, and his henchmen Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro are facing criminal charges of contempt, and his other henchmen Lindsay Graham and Rudy Giuliani are about to go before the judge in Georgia for trying to illegally overturn the outcome of the 2020 election, not to mention Trump in the spotlight of the ongoing January 6 hearings and facing legal blowback, then he is very much relevant and worth discussing here.

I think blazers is a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat. I think Heels Noir is basically a conservative, but was told he was a liberal or Democrat or whatever the "other thing" is, for cheer-leading purposes. BillyL was like that, as I recall. He just "pulled for" Democrats. There was no ideological allegiance. It was just a team association. It makes sense given this is a UNC Sports forum. No one is a Tar Heels fan because they agree with UNC's morality, or values, or ideological principles based on experience. It's just an arbitrary choice.
