I just can't stop shaking my head over this oft repeated DNC talking point: "a private citizen that hasn’t been elected or gone through any sort of appointment process." It suggests that there is an actual requirement for such. How do they skip over the part that the people being impacted by all this were 99.99% also NOT elected or involved in an appointment process? So, it's ok for people to be appointed/hired by D's and create a fourth tier of government through bureaucracy that funds their far left dreams, attacks those from the middle or to the right, but it's not ok for that exact same process to dismantle those very same things?

It's a "constitutional crisis" when they don't get their way. The 2016 election was "stolen" by Trump and Russia they screamed. The 2020 election had the most fraud of all time and 5 key swing states just somehow found +60K votes to seal the deal for the retard. He had a shadow government running the show covering up the biden family crimes and sending our money to every dark corner of the planet. The 2024 election proves they stole the 2020 election when 13M 2020 votes for harris went missing.
Regarding the Russia hoax that you reference that they just can't seem to give up on and get through their thick little skulls no matter how many times it gets proven otherwise, here's another win.

and get even more basic, and include some blatant hypocrisy. He colluded with Russia to steal an election, they said. He tried to overturn a legitimate election and throw the Constitution out the window, they said. But in actuality, through unwarranted investigations and unjustified impeachments and unduly weaponizing the justice system, it was the dem politicians and their drones who were in actual fact trampling all over the Constitution, and yes it was not just an abuse it was in fact a crisis that had lasting effects.
THEY SHOULD BE OUTED AND PUNISHED, not just because they deserve it, but because their abuse of and threat to our democracy should be recognized and acknowledged as something not to be gotten away with. The Constitution is not in a crisis, but their sphincters should be in such crisis as to be too tight to poke a needle into. No wonder they're still hollering like stuck pigs.

That shows how bipolar those nuts are and it took Trump to fix it by banning men from women sports and also blocking the stupid biden directive that schools like UNC would have to funnel most of its athletic dept revenues to the women over the men.
I posted the article about the reversal on Blue Heaven without pinning it on left-wing anti-male trash in the biden admin, but some of the responses shows who got their pink panties in a wad. They are stupid leftists that don't believe facts show their fellow leftists hate football in general but especially on UNC's campus.
UNC's Chancellor met with some of the faculty to appease their madness over Belichik being hired. They bitched at him for not funneling the millions raised for football to their departments as if those scumbags should steal donor money for themselves.

Like good little trained penguins, the attack was on you for pointing out this absurdity rather than the issue of the staffers in president dementia's office for attempting this ruination of what is left of college sports. You dared to reference orange hitler in a non-politics thread, so you were the problem, not the reality of Biden's reinterpretation and application of Title IX - something that has been great for women and college sports in general.
I am so, so tired of these people being present in the administration, faculty, or anywhere else associated with the school. Frankly, if they don't care for sports in general, or the big time revenue generating sports specifically, they need to have their staff arrange for some deplorables to move all their belongings to some other institution that has no sports whatsoever or, at best, an intramural program/DIII situation. Either accept that sports and the revenue/notoriety that they bring are part of the university/college experience or move on to less "green" pastures.
Frankly, when anyone in the world hears "UNC" or "Carolina", is their first thought about some French history professor, a study on gain of function, or the brand that is Carolina originally built by men's basketball? You should get that one on one guess every time, but they wouldn't. The value that has been brought to the university by Dean & Roy is simply immeasurable. Take the decades of football away and has literally anyone EVER heard the phrase Roll Tide? Study after study shows how applications, test scores, donations, funding, etc. go up at schools after athletic success. And, Carolina has had it in abundance - everywhere, across all sports - except for consistent football teams. And FB is a great white shark in a tank full of guppies and a dolphin.
These people are not only smug elitists', but they are flat out stupid and should have their degrees stripped in whatever lame liberal arts discipline they have if they cannot understand the value that BB and a successful FB program brings to the overall university. At a minimum, they need to stay in their lanes and let the adults run the university. What they don't understand is that no one is raising or donating millions for their stupid little departments and that money isn't coming, at all, without football, bball, etc. They simply don't get that the world doesn't exist on their blackboards/power points and isn't theoretical. Reality has a nasty habit of getting in the way of theory.

FEMA did a hell of a lot more than hand out 700 dollar checks here in WNC. They saved countless lives evacuating people from, and getting supplies to incredibly cut off remote areas. They played a pivotal role in organizing and completing infrastructure projects that helped get power back on, and water flowing again. While the water and power was out they were providing our communities with hot showers, hot meals, laundry service and countless other services. I personally know people who are still have a place to live because FEMA has been covering their hotel rooms. But don’t let facts get in the way of your bullshit propaganda. What did Trump do? He came here for a bullshit photo op, lied about helping, and caused a bunch of massive traffic jams on 40 and 26.
Oh and the Forest Services employees that are being indiscriminately laid off en masse also played pivotal roles in saving lives here since a lot of the evacuation routes cross National Forest service boundaries. That’s a true public service job that people do because they’re passionate about preserving our National Forests, despite the fact that the pay is shit. It’s incredibly shitty and stupid to be laying them off when the forest service is already critically underfunded.
But hey maybe we’ll annex Canada soon and rename another gulf. You f*cking morons will defend anything at this point.

I recognized many years ago that 60 Minutes and other sensation/controversy-creating shows were as yellow as Uncle Fester's teeth. Remember when Mike Wallace (IIRC) slandered General Westmoreland and got himself sued, and then feigned illness to keep from appearing in court to be publicly held accountable for lying his ass off for the sake of generating a better Nielson Rating. By the grace of the show's producers, he callously and unfairly trashed a man's character and reputation and professionalism in doing his extremely important job (Vietnam War job) just to gain viewership. No reason to think anything has changed.
I haven't watched what amounts to an hours worth of 60 Minutes in over forty years. I don't trust anything but sometimes I'll watch it anyway. I won't watch anything that I can almost depend on to twist, warp, and sensationalize what is supposed to be the truth of a matter.
