Yeah, it's all his fault. He forced her to break policy and use her private email server. He forced the American people to hate her even before the email issue came out and he forced her to run on an empty platform. Damn him.
ETA: And how exactly do you square that with the fact that she won the popular vote? Trump should thank the electoral college and the DNC for nominating a bad candidate.

Comey didn't help nearly as much as Hillary did.
I don't think he would have won, but it would have been interesting to see. He can be just as eccentric as Trump sometimes. Either way, it would still be entertaining if nothing else.
Bernie couldn't beat super delegates and a PC political party.

No kidding. Barack Obama is a direct culprit of the Trump Administration. He had to mouth-off and cut him down in public at that dinner. That was the keystone.

But even that wasn't enough to get him elected. If Barry didn't point the country in a direction that people didn't approve of, they would have elected his heir apparent in Hillary. Lots of ways that Trump sitting in the White House can (and should) be traced back to Obama.

Hillary Clinton has been being vilified for decades. She was tainted from the start. She's always been an easy target for "conservatives."
Trump is a master bullshitter. He's an artist of presentation and making the veneer look great. And, after having just gotten through 8 years of a black guy, trying to push the first woman (and, more importantly, THAT woman) through behind him was a huge mistake. The Russians wouldn't have had to try very hard. I'm, frankly, surprised it was as close as it was, in retrospect.
I think Obama pointed it in the direction the majority want... without a doubt, I believe that. It's going in that direction. That guy was loved like FDR, man. He would have beaten Trump like a dog if he could have run a 3rd time. Hillary was an AWFUL candidate. She was contested by an old, white, Jewish socialist! They had to rig their primary to get her in the seat.

I've seen very accurate comparisons of the 10 Planks of Communism being in-place in the USA for many decades now. I guess it's a sort of reactionary thing with Baby Boomers. You're taught that Communists are Castro and Chairman Mao.

Marx was a good social critic and a shit economist. Bernie espouses some of those social critiques, but has never advocated for any communist economic policy. They claim to be the people who hate communism but they don’t even know what it is.
I'm assuming you were going to type Trump isn't eccentric. If that's the case then you continue to have trouble with definitions lately.

I definitely agree that Marx was an awful economist. I'm not sure pure Communism can flourish. I don't think Marx meant for it to be implemented in its purest form.
Most if the movements that became "Communist" were anything but Communist once the revolutions that launched them ended.

Your book of POS's has a lot more names than Bernie Sanders. I don't see any Republicans trying to repeal the 16th Amendment or the Federal Reserve Act. Ron Paul was the only one I've known that did.
I have done WAYYYYYYY too much research on this idea.
My thought after all of it is that it can exist in small populations. Soviet Union, no freaking way.
That said, Marx would argue that we don't know yet if Communism can succeed because he sees it as a result of the end of Capitalism, which obviously hasn't happened (yet?).

I think any "ism" by itself evolves and takes things from other ideas. Tough to predict for someone, let's use Adam Smith in 1776, to predict a society/economy/anything over 200 years later.
